It’s time for the annual political fashion show. The Hill’s Most Beautiful People” list, also known as the “Hotties on the Hill” or “Pretty In Politics,” takes a look at senators, congressman, assistants, and lobbyists and ranks them according to looks.
Needless to say, it is a VERY important list.
Here are some stats about the Hill’s Most Beautiful People from the Washington Post.
- More than 400 people were nominated.
- The list contains 30 women and 20 men.
- The list contains 22 Democrats and 21 Republicans. Seven people identified themselves as Independents, Libertarian or non-partisan.
- 25 people on the list hail from California.
So who is the hottiest hottie on the hill?
The number 1 spot this year went to Max Engling, a staff assistant for the House Administration Committee. He’s based in Chicago, he’s a Republican, and according to the Hill, he was a model for three years before getting into politics.
The Hill writes:
“He modeled for three years before quitting in 2011 to pursue a career in politics. During that time he could be seen in print-ad campaigns for Kohl’s, Carson Pirie Scott, Sears and American Crew, among others, and he also did a commercial for Subway.”
