Lucy Hale Talks Selena Gomez Comparisons, ‘PLL’ Season 7
Lucy Hale gets mistaken for a lot of celebrities. But the one person she often gets mistaken for is pop star and fellow actress Selena Gomez.
The Pretty Little Liars star made an appearance on CBS’ daytime talk show, The Talk, on Tuesday afternoon where she talked about the many times she gets mistaken for most of young Hollywood.
“There was a phase growing up, people thought I was Selena Gomez. During the time she started dating Justin Bieber, they would try to take my phone to see if I was texting Justin Bieber. And I’m like, ‘I’ll try to take a picture with you to make your dreams come true if you think I’m Selena, but I am not.'”
Not only do the actresses look alike, but they share the same style. According to an article published on E! Online, both Lucy and Selena wore red Dior dresses at separate red carpet events back in 2014. The Pretty Little Liars star attended the 2014 Teen Choice Awards on Aug. 10 while the Wizards of Waverly Place alum wore the same dress to the screening of Samuel Goldwyn Films’ Ruderless two months later.

Selena is not the only celebrity that Lucy Hale has been compared to. The 26-year-old revealed that she also gets mistaken for Modern Family star Sarah Hyland.
“People think Sarah Hyland, Jenna Coleman, and even more recently JoJo from The Bachelor. She’s my favorite. She’s my pick.”
The reason why Lucy gets compared to Sarah these days is because both of the starlets have gone blonde. Back in February, Lucy took to her Instagram page to debut her freshly colored blonde bob. The person behind her look was hairstylist Kristin Ess, who spoke to PeopleStyle about Lucy’s new look.
Unfortunately, the color was only temporarily. Ess said that Hale “likes doing fun things with her hair when she can.” And since she was on a tiny break from filming Pretty Little Liars, Ess said that Hale will see how long she will stick with the blonde hair.
But now the actress is back to filming Season 6 of Pretty Little Liars, which means she’s back to her brunette roots. There has been speculation that it may be the show’s last season, or that certain characters will leave the show for good. Lucy set the record straight on The Talk, saying that she’s staying on the show but that it should end after Season 7 ends.
“It often gets misconstrued when I say we’re done after season seven. I think people think I’m quitting but I’m not. Good things must come to an end, you know? As far as I know for now, we’re all going to wrap it up after next season.
“We’ve had a really good run. Seven years is unheard of. I think we should end it with a bang.”
But how does Lucy Hale want Pretty Little Liars to end? She said that her character, Aria, should at least have a happy ending with her on-again, off-again love interest, Ezra.
“I would say marriage, some babies maybe. I think Aria would be the first one to have some babies. You know, she’s sort of still in love with this guy named Ezra throughout the course of show, so maybe some babies with Ezra. I say burn down Rosewood and walk away with two babies on each arm.”
It’s a different answer from the one she had back in January, when Hale confessed on James Corden’s talk show that she kind of wants things to end “tragically” like they usually do on the series.
