Mariah Carey: Diva Demands, Secret To Weight Loss, Wheeled To Vegas Performance
Mariah Carey has been known for not only her incredible talent and singing voice, but also for being one self-professed diva who likes things to be just right and by right, it seems as though lavishness and luxury are always a must in the star’s day-to-day.
It’s certainly a wonderful match Carey has found since parting ways from Nick Cannon. Her new fiancé is billionaire James Packer, and is known for being a total gentleman while showering the diva with gifts that many women can only dream of. Mariah’s 37-carat diamond engagement ring is a testament to that.
“[Carey]has her whole entire entourage fly in private jets. She refuses to let any of her people fly commercial airlines!”
The singer, who is worth an estimated $510 million, apparently charges at least $1 million to perform at shows she is requested at. Her future hubby is also about helping Mariah to continue to earn the green, as the publication notes.
“Aside from headlining the Vegas gig, the songstress also got paid millions to perform at her billionaire boyfriend James Packer’s newest venture: a club called Studio City in Macau, China.”
Mariah reportedly also has very strict rules about how she is photographed and captured on video, all due to a little beauty mark that the diva is not thrilled about having showcased.
“A staffer at a 2015 holiday event told Radar that Carey insisted on having her personal photographer approve the angle and setting of all photo and video interviews! According to the mole, she refused to be photographed from the right.”
We all want to look our best, and Mariah deserves to be shown in her best light. This rule is not so outrageous. To keep her body in a shape she is happy to flaunt in her form-fitting gowns, an insider recently shared that the diva never steps foot in the gym but instead opts for an expensive procedure to keep her sexy figure.
” ‘Mariah has not stepped foot in a gym and she probably never will!’ Instead, she opted for an expensive procedure called Coolsculpting to shed the pounds.”
The insider also goes on to indicate just how well Packer spoils the luxury-loving diva, noting that he is happy to shower her with jewelry and additional gifts as well as ensure that she gets whatever she needs in the kitchen.
“James also has a round-the-clock chef that prepares whatever Mariah wants. Mariah loves to spend money on herself and she really loves to spend James’s money on herself.”
It is, however, unlikely that Mariah is focused on spending James’ money when she earns quite a large sum yearly all on her own.
Carey has been taking to the Vegas stage regularly while continuing on in her Vegas residency. Recently, the cost of looking her best left Carey in need of some assistance to get her to the stage. The diva requested to be wheeled to the performance due to heels that were hurting her feet to badly to walk on her own. TMZ shares as to the details of the wheeled-in appearance in Vegas.
“According to a source for TMZ, the 45-year-old’s staff came up with the idea of putting a chair on a rolling cart in order to ease her discomfort from her heels. The singer hopes to get a permanent ‘throne’ so she can still wear her beloved heeled shoes and avoid the pain.”
