Report: Kim Richards Makes Salary Demands Ahead Of ‘RHOBH’ Reunion

Kim Richards may not have been a full-time cast member during the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as she had been in seasons prior, but that reportedly hasn’t stopped her from making salary demands ahead of the upcoming reunion.

“[Kim Richards] knows how much the network wants her, and she is hoping to score a hefty payday,” a source revealed to Radar Online on February 25. “She has bills to pay!”

Kim Richards, along with her sister, Kyle, was featured as an original housewife when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills began airing years ago, and she retained her role for years until tragically suffering an alcohol relapse in April of last year, which resulted in an arrest.

In April 2015, Kim Richards traveled to the Beverly Hills Hotel after having a glass of vodka at her daughter Brooke Brinson’s home nearby. While there, she drank more and eventually became a disturbance to her fellow patrons. When asked to leave, Kim Richards refused and police were called in for assistance. In turn, she was charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer, battery on an officer and trespassing.

Although Kim Richards entered a treatment facility a short time after her arrest, she eventually left rehab. Months later, she was arrested for a second time at a Target store in Los Angeles, where she was accused of stealing over $600 worth of items, including children’s toys.

Despite the rough start of Kim Richards’ year, she was believed to have gotten sober. Throughout her sobriety struggles, she did what she could to assist Monty Brinson, her ex-husband, who was dying of cancer.

Dealing with Brinson’s cancer battle, claimed a Radar Online‘s source, “essentially put [Kim Richards]’s life on hold. She always wanted to be there for him, and the rest of her life suffered. She wasn’t able to be completely devoted to her sobriety.”

She was also forced to rely on her two sisters, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton, to support her throughout her struggles, which was “very humbling for Kim,” the insider explained. “It’s now time for [Kim Richards] to take responsibility for earning a paycheck.”

“[Kim Richards] wants the world to see how she has been able to overcome so many obstacles, including two arrests, and trips to rehab,” the insider continued. “She never gave up, even when everything was stacked against her. She wants to come back to RHOBH next season, happy and healthy.”

While Kim Richards was not included in the full-time cast of Season 6, she was brought back to the show for the tail-end of the season at the end of last year, and when she was, she seemed to pick up where she left off: feuding with Lisa Rinna.

Looking forward, Kim Richards reportedly hopes to put her troubles behind her and set a better example for her four children, as well as any future grandchildren.

“More than anything, family is the most important thing for [Kim Richards]. With her daughter, Brooke happily married, it’s only a matter of time until she becomes a grandmother,” said the insider. “She wants to be a role model and inspiration for her kids.”

Kim Richards returns to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sometime next month on Bravo. Her friend, Brandi Glanville, will also been seen in later episodes.
