Brandi Glanville Claims Kim Richards Is Still Sober, Despite Losing Monty Brinson

Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards have a strange relationship. Their friendship has been built on shenanigans and lots of alcohol. Well, Glanville drank a lot and Richards generally remained sober. Both were once a part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but have since left the show. Last season was a mess for Glanville, partially because of how Richards was behaving. Through all of the trouble, Glanville remained by Richards’ side, which is a true testament to their bond.

You can always trust Brandi Glanville to say what she means, completely unfiltered. She has talked about recently attending the memorial for Monty Brinson, Kim Richards’ ex-husband and very good friend. Brinson was a hot topic last season, especially when the ladies on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills talked about Richards.

According to Us Weekly, Brandi Glanville spoke out about Kim Richards and how she is doing following the loss of Brinson. It seems that sobriety is still very much a part of Richards’ life. Glanville had nothing but praise for her friend. She talked about attending the memorial, and even mentioned drinking there. Drinking in front of a sober friend isn’t always a good idea, but Glanville feels like she can, and it is up to Richards to remove herself or be able to handle the sobriety issue on her own.

The last year has been a struggle for Brandi Glanville without the issues her best friend brought. She was not asked back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, likely because of how she acted. Glanville touched upon that during an appearance on Kocktails With Khloe, but never elaborated beyond a few jokes.

Glanville wasn’t really friendly with any of the other girls, especially the two new additions from last season. Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna didn’t jive well with Glanville, and she was really only close with Kim Richards and Yolanda Foster. At one point, Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump were close, but that fizzled out after some serious drama. And while they attempted to patch things up, it never really mended their friendship.

It seems that maybe Brandi Glanville is still a bit bitter about not returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has made several underhanded comments, not necessarily addressing any of her former frenemies. According to Reality Tea, Brandi Glanville called her former co-stars “b*****s.” While none of them seem to have been phased, it was a low blow over something insignificant. Glanville isn’t one to let things go easily, and she will likely remain stuck on this for a while. It is probably best she didn’t return to the show. She has kept in contact with Kim Richards through it all. Because they were not asked back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, their friendship has remained intact.

Being outspoken is something Brandi Glanville is known for, especially in rather tense situations. As Kim Richards experienced her relapse and hit rock bottom, Glanville was there to help pick her up. She did express concern about her friend while they were still taping, but didn’t realize just how bad things had gotten. Glanville later spoke out about Richards and her relapse. Through it all, Glanville has stood beside her friend.

Things have not always been easy, but she has had Richards’ back each and every time she fell. While Glanville is catching some criticism for drinking in front of Richards, she is confident she can handle it. Brandi Glanville has made it clear that she doesn’t intend to quit drinking at all or even quit drinking around Richards, even though it is a struggle each and every day for her friend to remain sober.
