Christina Aguilera & Gwen Stefani Are Feuding Ahead Of ‘The Voice’ Season 10 Premiere?

Are Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani involved in a celebrity feud? For the past few seasons of The Voice, Christina Aguilera has been alternating seasons as a coach with Stefani, and ahead of Season 10 of the NBC reality series, she’s said to be at odds with her fellow singer. According to a new report, Christina Aguilera has become an issue for staff of the show, as well.

“The filming of the new TV spot promo with [Christina Aguilera] was absolutely horrendous,” a source told Radar Online on February 4. “[Christina Aguilera] showed up late and acted like she owned the shoot. The entire thing had to be about her or else she would have flipped out.”

“Christina insisted on wearing her own wardrobe and using her own hair and make-up team. She just would not take any direction for the shoot and wanted it to center around her. And so it did,” the source explained.

Christina Aguilera has been accused of diva antics for years, but luckily for her, and for producers, the series’ other three judges, including Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton, the boyfriend of Stefani, “just let [Christina Aguilera] have her way because it is much easier than arguing with her.”

The source went on to explain that dealing with Stefani was much different, and because of Christina Aguilera’s allegedly over-the-top antics, producers were wishing they hadn’t brought the “Genie In A Bottle” singer back to the show. However, at this point it seems far too late to make any casting changes.

“Filming with [Christina Aguilera] is night and day from filming with Gwen and a lot of people are just kinda bummed that they brought her back,” the source added.

As for her rumored feud with Stefani, Radar Online claimed Christina Aguilera was unhappy with Stefani returning to the show due to her relationship with Shelton. According to a source in December, Christina Aguilera felt that Stefani was using her romance with Shelton as a way to stay on the show.

After Christina Aguilera stepped back from her coaching position on Season 8 of The Voice, Stefani took over for the ninth season. While working with Shelton, the two began dating. Months prior to the start of filming, Shelton announced he and Miranda Lambert were divorcing. Weeks later, Stefani announced she and Gavin Rossdale had parted ways after 13 years of marriage.

Following Stefani and Shelton’s relationship confirmation, the pair began flaunting their romance on The Voice, and rumors began swirling in regard to whether or not Stefani would be asked back, thus booting Christina Aguilera from her alternating role. However, in the end, producers opted to bring Christina Aguilera back to her coaching spot and enlist Stefani to join her and her co-stars in a mentor role for The Voice Season 10.

As Stefani teams up with her boyfriend for the upcoming season, Christina Aguilera will be joined by Miley Cyrus. This week, the two posed for a photo, which quickly made the rounds on social media. Cyrus also shared a solo photo of herself on Twitter, which confirmed she was part of the show.

Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Miley Cyrus will make their Season 10 debut on The Voice on February 29 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
