Vicki Gunvalson Reaches Out To Shannon Beador On Anniversary Of Mother’s Death

Vicki Gunvalson was busy filming The Real Housewives of Orange County last year, and today marks the one-year anniversary of her losing her mother. Exactly one year ago, the ladies were all gathered at Shannon Beador’s home for a night of games, and they had no idea that Vicki got the news about her mother in the kitchen. She completely broke down, and her co-stars were there to pick up the pieces. According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson is now reaching out to Shannon, revealing that she has a special place in her heart.

“1 year ago today, our family lost our amazing, fun, beautiful, classy talented mother & Nana. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss her & I hope she hears me when I speak to her in heaven,” Gunvalson wrote about her mother, Joanne Closset Steinmetz, adding, “I lift our family up in prayer today as we mourn our beautiful Joanne. Life is not the same without you.”

But interestingly, Vicki also mentioned Beador in the post because of her connection to her mother’s death.

“To Shannon Beador, you hold a special place in my heart because I was at your home when I received that awful news,” Gunvalson also wrote in the post.

It is interesting that Vicki Gunvalson is reaching out to Shannon Beador in the post, because the two ladies haven’t really talked in a long time. At the time, Beador was starting to question Vicki’s stories about Brooks Ayers’ cancer, but she could put it aside when Gunvalson lost her mother. The cause of death is unknown, but the coroner speculated that she died from either a massive heart attack or an aneurysm. Vicki opted out of an autopsy.

Shannon has yet to respond to the Instagram post. It is possible that she has Vicki blocked, which means that she won’t get a notification that Vicki has written about her. Last year, Beador revealed that she was completely shocked at how Vicki had handled herself in the Brooks’ scandal. The two were close friends, but Shannon was shocked that Gunvalson didn’t keep her affair a secret.

“I am absolutely floored. The victim card, the ‘I was duped’ speaking engagement that Vicki Gunvalson is on is completely ridiculous to me,” Shannon Beador revealed last year, according to People Magazine. “I just want to say a few things because I’m really, really angry about what happened tonight. There were so many lies.”

Of course, Beador is referring to the lies that Brooks Ayers told about his supposed treatment at the City of Hope hospital. The hospital later confirmed that they had never had a patient by that name. He continues to claim that he has cancer, even though Gunvalson is now questioning his stories.

“Vicki on the reunion said that for four hours she sat at the City of Hope, she sat in the waiting room on her computer for four hours. On her Mario Lopez Interview on Extra, she says that she picked him up. On Andy’s Watch What Happens Live interview, she says, ‘Yeah, I called him and I picked him up, and then we walked around for half an hour.’ Those are conflicting stories! Because Vicki now realizes, ‘I can’t say I was sitting there for four hours because City of Hope has denied treating him,'” Beador said. “These lies are so blatant, and I get so frickin’ irritated about it… and this woman fabricated something way prior to filming,” Shannon points out.

It has been months since the ladies filmed The Real Housewives of Orange County together. Chances are that they are starting to film a new season of the show, and the ladies are talking things out.

What do you think of Vicki Gunvalson reaching out to Shannon on the anniversary of her mother? Do you think Beador should forgive her co-star?
