Billy Mays dead

Infomercial pitchman and internet legend Billy Mays has died, Fox News is reporting.
Mays, 50, was found unresponsive by his wife Sunday morning in his Tampa home. Oddly, on Saturday Mays was involved in an incident in which a plane he was traveling on experienced a front-tire blowout on landing. Fox speculates that the two incidents might be connected.
In a statement, Mays’ wife Deborah said:
“Although Billy lived a public life, we don’t anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days. Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times.”

Did you really just reference FOX News as a source, Kim? I'm going to ask Duncan to whip you with a wet noodle.
Using FOX News as a “it's true, I saw it on the news” reference is like asking Hitler for his scientific opinion on the quality of DNA for Jewish people.
aka Don't do it.

Shamwow, batman. Damn, I was just beginning to like the guy! Such a loss for informercial inventors around the world.

Desperate times, buddy- Fox was the first major news outlet I saw that confirmed it. I thought it was safe because it was non political!

Nothing on/from/about FOX is ever safe.
EVER!
I'd prefer to wait 3 years for C-SPAN to get around to it than get it “f1rst!” from FOX.

This sucks!

I respectfully disagree.
How can they possibly mess up/slant dead or not dead?
Jun 28, 2009
It's easy.
The same way they mistakenly label every Republican politician as a Democrat when something scandalous happens, only to correct it in passing two days later after their entire audience has the impression that the “bad bad person on TV” is a Democrat.
The whole Affair-In-Argentina is a perfect example. Just one more in a string of lies.

I agree that politically their reporting is inaccurate, but I needed a cite, and at the time the only confirmation was Fox News. I'm fully aware of their indiscretions and political leanings, but it's it's a matter of something that's totally neutral – the headline wasn't “Billy Mays killed by Obama's tobacco consumption.”

he wasn't?? DAMN!

It wasn't just me it was everyone!
Jun 29, 2009
I saw that after I posted, sorry!

It's too bad he died while his career was blowing up. He was a unique personality.

not a problem

Authorities have already announced the bumped head on airplane landing was not related to his death.

Sorry, but that's game, set, and match!
Your whole “it can't be biased since it's simple facts can it?” theory has now been utterly destroyed.
Not that I enjoy gloating over such journalistic integrity degradation (you, not them), but… HA! HA! I TOLD YOU SO!

Bitch, please. The article I linked to was merely about his death. Everyone was speculating the luggage did him in. He was dead, it was just about him being dead! That is so not game set and match and I guarandamntee you I will whoop yo' ass in any future political debating. Bring it ON! I'm a registered Libertarian BTW.

haha I'm laughing so hard right now.

p.s. I wasn't really saying you were wrong… just that your idea that FOX News couldn't get the facts of life wrong was, uh, wrong.
p.s.s. I wasn't saying you were a crazy Right Wing Nutjob. You're writing on here, so I figured you had to be a Democrat at minimum. Especially since you're not a 65 yr old white man.

You wouldn't be LAUGHING if I were wiping the floor with you in a debate!
I do dislike Fox News but I can out-balls Ann Coulter any day of the week. And I'm actually a 62 year old white man, Duncan stole that pic from some dumb chick on Facebook. Now get off my lawn!
