ISIS Fake Passports: Terrorist Group Using Fake Passports To Infiltrate Europe
The Syrian refugee crisis takes a new turn as it is now being reported that ISIS has the ability to manufacture fake passports. British intelligence is warning that ISIS is sending jihadist fighters into Europe disguised as refugees with a passport that has an alternate identity.
A British intelligence agent commented on the new ISIS threat.
“Jihadists travel to Raqqa to meet up with (ISIS) commanders, where they receive training and new passports. They then make their way back to Europe posing as migrants with new identities, making it virtually impossible for security officials to detect potential terrorists among those fleeing persecution.”

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve is the one who made the initial claim about how ISIS has the ability to manufacture fake passports. Cazeneuve wants to create a task force and head to Greece in order to try and stop refugees from entering Europe with a fake passport. Ahead of the Paris attacks, which is still fresh in the minds of the people of France, some of the attackers entered France while claiming to be refugees. Syrian passports were found during the investigation after the attacks took place. There are some people who state the passports could have been planted in order to deter countries from accepting refugees from war-torn Syria.
The immigration crisis plaguing Europe has been highlighted in the news. Sexual assaults have been reported in Germany and Sweden, and some people in the European government blame their own citizens instead of the refugees who are committing the crimes. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico made a statement yesterday, where he says that Europe is committing “ritual suicide” by not having better control over who is being let into the continent.
“I feel that we in the EU are now committing ritual suicide and we’re just looking on.”
Holland’s EU commissioner, Frans Timmermans, also is concerned about the amount of refugees being let into Europe.
“More than half of the people now coming to Europe come from countries where you can assume they have no reason whatsoever to ask for refugee status. More than half, 60%.”
The United States is no safer than Europe. A document from Homeland Security claims that the fake passports ISIS is now making have likely allowed some jihadists to enter the United States. The information in the document was given a confidence rating of “moderate confidence,” which is the second-highest rating of its type.
“Since more than 17 months [have] passed since Raqqa and Deir ez-Zour fell to ISIS, it is possible that individuals from Syria with passports ‘issued’ in these ISIS-controlled cities or who had passport blanks, may have traveled to the U.S.”
It is believed that ISIS was able to obtain blank passport books and, at least, one machine that is used when issuing passports. The passports that ISIS is printing look no different than passports printed by Syria before ISIS took power. The passports can be purchased from between $200 and $400 and are of such high quality that many in Syria do not view them as being fake.

The director of the FBI, James Comey, commented on the ISIS terrorist threat.
“The intelligence community is concerned that they [ISIS] have the ability, the capability to manufacture fraudulent passports, which is a concern in any setting.”
It is becoming clear that ISIS is the most formidable terrorist group to walk on the Earth. Their ability to use technology to their advantage is forcing Europe and the United States to play catch up before another terrorist attack occurs.
