Amy Schumer Is In Love

Amy Schumer has had quite the awards season so far in 2016. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role in the movie Trainwreck, and she won two Critics’ Choice Awards — Best Actress in a Comedy and the MVP Award. But despite this, the Hamilton Spectator reports that Amy Schumer has said that having a boyfriend is her biggest accomplishment of 2015.

“We’re really psyched, we’re in love, and I’m really proud I can take him to the White House to stop gun violence… Having a boyfriend is my biggest accomplishment this year.”

Earlier this month, a source told People that Any Schumer is really happy with her boyfriend Ben Hanisch.

“Amy is so, so happy. She calls him her boyfriend and says he constantly tells her how pretty, sexy and perfect she is. She feels like she hit the jackpot.”

Apparently, Amy Schumer’s sister, Kim Caramele, also approves.

“Her sister loves him and that’s important because her and her sis are BFF.”

At the Golden Globe Awards, Schumer was on the red carpet with Caramele, but she talked about her new beau.

“We’re in love and it’s really exciting. I’ve never been dating anyone that the public’s really known about. But I like that everyone thinks I’ve been single my whole life. They’re like, ‘She got her first boyfriend!’ and I’m like, ‘No, I’ve dated people over the years.'”

Amy Schumer is already back on the road, and People reports that she recently posted a photo on Instagram that shows Hanisch standing next to her.

“Missing these people on the road.”

It’s clear that Hanisch is equally smitten with Amy Schumer. On New Year’s Day he posted on Instagram and his caption was truly touching.

“Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here’s to what adventures 2016 brings!”

And after the Critics’ Choice Awards, Hanisch gushed some more when he posted a photo to Instagram.

“One more from last night because this girl looked insanely gorgeous and I’m in love with her.”

The couple is so in love that there are already rumors spreading that they could get engaged at any time. Hollywood Life reports that a source revealed to Life & Style that there are wedding vibes in the air.

“They are giving everyone around them major wedding vibes.”

A source also spoke about the type of wedding Amy Schumer has always wanted.

“She would love a big wedding. She’s been dreaming of that moment forever. Everyone’s predicting that by summer they’ll at least be engaged.”

Obviously, these rumors have yet to be confirmed, but in the meantime, it is certain Amy Schumer will enjoy her new romance. The Huffington Post reports she is also making sure that teenage movie critic Jackson Murphy (aka Lights Camera Jackson) is put in his place after posting a rude sexual comment about her at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday. He tweeted a photo with her alongside a poor choice of caption.

“Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that.”

Apparently, he was trying to joke around. Amy Schumer shot back with her own tweet.

Shortly after, Jackson apologized and received a response from Schumer.

It’s true that Amy Schumer has used her sexuality and sex life in her routines.

“I think it’s just ’cause I’m a girl. I feel like a guy could get up here and literally pull his d**k out, and everyone would be like, ‘He’s a thinker.'”

However, that doesn’t mean she should be a target for rude jokes and comments. Fans certainly think Amy Schumer is awesome and, apparently, so does her new man!
