Kim Kardashian Admits To Only Washing Her Hair Twice Per Week

This might be shocking, but after you understand what Kim Kardashian does with her hair every day, you will not be so shocked after all. Kim K admits to only washing her hair in the shower twice per week to prevent it from drying out. However, she does use dry shampoo on those days that she doesn’t wash and shampoo in the shower. Does this surprise you that she admits to only shampooing her hair twice per week? It is a little shocking since many people wash and shampoo their hair every single day or at least, every other day.

Every woman would love to have hair like Kim Kardashian. During the winter time, it can be a little more difficult to prevent your hair from getting dry. Kim K even says it can be hard so you know it’s true when Kim says so! However, she has provided some awesome tips for keeping your hair hydrated during the winter months.

According to what Kim K told Celebrity Health and Fitness, using a dry shampoo on the days you don’t shampoo it in the shower will keep your hair clean and prevent it from drying out. She also says she uses hair masks and her absolute favorite ones are Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream and Rodin Luxury Hair Oil. She swears by these two hair masks and thinks every woman should try them too!

Celebrity Health and Fitness also asked Kim K what she currently has in her makeup purse. These products are her absolute favorite products for hair and makeup.

Did you know Kim K has Psoriasis? Many people most likely didn’t know that already but according to Kim, if you looked into her purse right now, you would see two makeup brushes and they both work really well with her makeup to cover up her Psoriasis. One is a little Mac 182 Buffer Brush and the other one is a bigger Bakuki brush and she says this latter one she uses with her makeup works the best to cover up her skin problems. According to Kim K, she loves taking care of her skin. Although she says she can take hours to perfect her makeup every day, she says she prefers to go the low maintenance route with her hair. You know Kim K uses only the best foundation, right? She actually uses two different foundations but they are both her favorites. Her preferred foundations include Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and Joe Blasco Ultrabase Foundation. Kim says her dad sent her to Joe Blasco makeup school and she has been using the foundation since then. She absolutely loves it!

Kim also loves to contour her cheeks and her nose. She says it helps make her face look slimmer. She loves using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit because it is great at contouring her face and making it look slimmer.

Now for mascara, Kim K loves using Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara. On the other hand, when she is removing her makeup at night before bed, she enjoys using Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. Kim says she loves the process of getting both her hair and makeup done and loves taking care of her skin. This is why it is important to remove your makeup every night before bed. She also has a favorite face wash which is the By Terry Purete De Rose Cleansing Gel. This is her favorite because it smells like roses.

Kim also says for those who have dry skin, use the thick hydrating creams. Her favorite is the Guerlain Orchidee Imperiale The Rich Cream because she says it smells great and she loves the creaminess of it.

Now, let’s talk about some tips for low maintenance hair care. According to Kim who told Hello Magazine, she likes to keep it simple with her hair. Right now, she likes the sleek on-the-go ponytails. She says after she gets her hair really straight by using a straight iron, she pulls her hair back in a sleek ponytail. However, she says in between the days she shampoos her hair in the shower, she also likes to part it in the middle, leave subtle waves in it, and keep it slightly messy. Kim K says this is her absolute favorite look most of the time but many times she will opt for a sleek ponytail on the third or fourth day before she washes her hair in the shower.
