Jade Roper And Tanner Tolbert Wedding Update: ‘Reality Steve’ Teases New Details Regarding ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Nuptials
Bachelor in Paradise lovebirds Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are getting married soon, and their nuptials will be televised in an upcoming ABC special. Jade and Tanner managed to keep much of the planning under wraps until recently, and now Reality Steve’s spoilers are dishing out details on a few more tidbits. What is known so far about the big day?
ABC has teased that Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper’s wedding will air on February 14, Valentine’s Day. Although there had been some buzz that this might be a live wedding event much like what viewers got with Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, that is not the case. It will be pre-taped, much like what “Bachelor Nation” fans got with the weddings of Trista and Ryan Sutter, Molly and Jason Mesnick, and Ashley and JP Rosenbaum.
Reality Steve’s spoilers share that Jade and Tanner will actually be getting married on Sunday, January 24. He says that he believes it will be in Dana Point, California, but that location is not fully confirmed yet it seems. However, having the wedding in California will not come as a huge surprise, as it makes sense from a production standpoint and that’s where the previous weddings have been held other than when Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul exchanged vows on the Season 2 premiere of Bachelor in Paradise.
Of course, there will be quite a few familiar faces attending this Bachelor in Paradise wedding. Tanner and Jade have a lot of close friends from the franchise, and many fans would guess that some of the wedding party attendants could end up being friends from the show. Reality Steve’s spoilers share that Clare Crawley, Carly Waddell, Juelia Kinney, Ben Zorn, Jared Haibon, Chris Strandburg, and JJ Lane will all be at the event, and there may be others fans will recognize on the guest list as well.

Reality Steve also indicates that Ben Higgins, who was with Tanner on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Bachelorette season and is now looking for love headlining his own Bachelor season, will be there too. Of course, Ben will have to go stag, without his final rose recipient, as they have to keep their relationship under wraps until the season finale this spring.
Doing a separate televised special for Jade and Tanner is an interesting move by the network, especially given the fact that they skipped over covering Desiree Hartsock’s wedding with Chris Siegfried last year. Desiree and Chris were the first couple coming from the core franchise shows to not get a televised wedding, and the decision by the network generated a lot of buzz among fans.
Tanner and Jade are not the first couple from the summer spin-off to get married, although they have definitely been popular. Blake Julian married Holly Durst after Bachelor Pad, and they did not have their wedding covered at all. Then there was Marcus and Lacy’s event within the show last summer. Will fans tune in to see the Roper and Tolbert wedding?
Now that the secret about the wedding is mostly out, Jade and Tanner have been sharing additional tidbits via social media. Roper has her dress all set, the couple has been spending a lot of time setting up their wedding registry, and they have even put down a deposit on a piece of land where they will build a new home together.
