Josh Duggar Slammed By Mike Huckabee For Being ‘Evil’ During Campaign Stop
Josh Duggar has been the subject of many headlines over the last year. Right now, he is battling a porn star in court over allegations he had rough sex with her, although he denies everything.
Duggar was once a well-respected man who was headed into a career in politics. That all changed last year when police records involving Josh Duggar were made available to the public. Shocking reports were released about a molestation scandal that involved Duggar and several of his sisters. Fans and supporters of the Duggar family were horrified, but that was only the tip of the iceberg.
As more details were released, Josh Duggar stepped down from his position in Washington and moved back home. The entire family was torn up over the situation, especially the Duggar sisters, who were the victims of Josh Duggar’s inappropriate touching.
According to a report from Radar Online, Josh Duggar was slammed by Mike Huckabee as “evil” during a recent campaign stop. This is shocking because Huckabee and the Duggar family are longtime friends. When news of what happened broke, the presidential hopeful stepped away from the Duggar family completely. Since then, he has talked about feeling sorry for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar but never denounced Josh Duggar until he was confronted.
The Duggar family has helped campaign for Mike Huckabee for several years. They have also done campaigning for Rick Santorum, although he has completely cut ties with the family.
Josh Duggar was the subject of conversation during a stop, and the lady asking the question approached Huckabee in the wrong manner. She accused him of supporting child abuse, which is how she labeled what happened between Duggar and his sisters. This did not sit well with the candidate, and he put her in her place. While he believes what Josh Duggar did was evil, he also believes that the media didn’t help the situation.
Now, Josh Duggar is trying to repair the damage done to his life and the lives of his family members. He is currently residing in an Illinois rehab but is allowed visitation. His wife, Anna, has visited him several times since he checked in, most recently over Christmas. There have been rumors that Josh Duggar got Anna pregnant again. According to the Hollywood Gossip, the Duggar family is blaming cousin Amy King for leaking the news. It is unconfirmed whether or not Duggar is actually pregnant, but it wouldn’t shock anyone if she was. Right now, Josh Duggar needs to focus on getting his head on straight and getting home to his family. Anna has decided to stand by her husband through the scandals, despite heavy criticism.
The next several months are going to be crucial for Josh Duggar. Critics aren’t going to be so welcoming when Duggar arrives back in the real world. It is clear that the world isn’t ready to forgive and move on from what happened with the Duggars. Mike Huckabee is going to be haunted by his support from the Duggar family.
