Chris Brown Previews More New Music On Instagram, Fuels Rumors Of A ‘Before The Party’ Follow-Up

Chris Brown may be keeping quiet regarding rumors that he’s planning to surprise fans with another mixtape release in the coming months, but it looks like Brown is only fueling the claims as he continues to preview brand new music on Instagram for eager fans.

On Saturday, Chris Brown took to the social media site to share four video clips of a new song reportedly titled “Notice.”

In the videos, Chris Brown dons a white “Supreme” shirt and black hat while sitting on the edge of his bed and mouthing along to the lyrics of his upcoming song.

“We don’t need to speak if it’s spoken / We don’t gotta fix what’s not broken / I’m just sick of going through the motions,” Chris Brown sings in one video snippet before repeating, “I need you, I need you,” in another clip.

The news comes just one week after Brown teased even more new music on his Instagram page, this time donning a bright Spongebob Squarepants hoodie for the videos, further fueling speculation that Brown may be planning to release a follow-up mixtape to Before the Party that dropped over the Black Friday holiday in November, Complex reports.

After Chris Brown fans were met with disappointment following the news that Brown’s highly anticipated Royalty album was being pushed back from its original November release date to December 18, Brown quietly dropped his massive 34- track Before the Party mixtape on Black Friday to seemingly appease his patient fans.

While Chris Brown’s mixtape contained both old and new unreleased tracks, including a collaboration with Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa, and Kelly Rowland titled “Counterfeit,” it appears that Brown has been busy in the recording studio working on fresh music for fans.

With Brown taking to social media to tease new songs almost weekly, including videos from Instagram and a nearly one-hour broadcast on Periscope, fans have begun speculating that Brown is gearing up to release a follow-up mixtape to Before the Party reportedly titled, After the Party.

No official word from Chris Brown regarding plans of a new mixtape release has been confirmed. However, fans are more than welcoming to the idea of another release from the “Loyal” singer after the success of Royalty.

“Whatever he has coming out better drop soon cuz it’s gonna be good,” one fan commented on Brown’s video preview of “Notice.”

In addition, another fan references the mixtape rumors when they ask, “This s*** is *fire emoji* I need the single so I can hear the rest. What’s good wit a mixtape?”

While Brown continues to remain mum regarding the After the Party mixtape rumors, the singer did confirm that a new collaboration with clothing lines Bape and Black Pyramid is on the horizon.

“#BAPE #BLACKPYRAMID COLLAB COMING SOON!” Brown wrote on Instagram yesterday following the release of his snippets for “Notice,” teasing a rumored collaboration between his own line and Japanese clothing company, A Bathing Ape.

While fans continue to enjoy the new teaser tracks from Brown’s rumored mixtape, it looks like we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement from Chris Brown regarding whether or not new music will be available from the singer in 2016.
