Meek Mill Previews New ‘Dreamchasers 4’ Music On Instagram, Hints At Upcoming Music Video

Meek Mill has yet to announce an official release date for his highly-anticipated Dreamchasers 4 mixtape, but it appears that Meek Mill may be preparing to drop a new music video in anticipation for his upcoming album.

On Saturday, Meek Mill took to Instagram to share six new video clips of what appears to be an upcoming music video, while also giving fans another listen into what they can expect from Meek’s impending DC4 mixtape, Complex reports.

In one snippet, Meek Mill previews a new track reportedly titled “Gave ‘Em Hope” before crediting director Will Ngo for the video’s eye-catching visuals.

It didn’t take long for fans to swarm the comments section of Meek Mill’s video clips, with most fans expressing their excitement over the intensity of Meek’s new lyrics.

“DC4 snippets sounding like @Meek Mill back for redemption,” one fan explains. Another adds, “@MeekMill is cooking something, it’s gonna be fire jus wait on it. I can feel DC$ coming real soon…”

While there’s still no confirmation of a release date for Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 4 mixtape or a drop date for the rapper’s reported new music video, some fans anticipate that Meek Mill may release the video sooner than anticipated given that Drake is rumored to drop his fourth studio album, Views From The 6, during a new episode of OVO Sound Radio on Apple Music this evening.

In addition, director Will Ngo seemingly fueled rumors of a new music video release on Twitter when he instructed his followers to “stay posted today” before linking to Dreamchaser Records’ official YouTube channel.

The latest preview of Meek Mill’s DC4 comes on the heels of reports that suggest Meek’s new mixtape will feature a remix of Drake’s infamous “Back To Back” diss track that was penned as a result of Meek Mill’s ghostwriting accusations against Drake last year.

During a listening party for Dreamchasers 4 over the New Year’s Eve holiday, a party attendee captured a video of Meek Mill rapping over the beat to “Back To Back” with lyrics like, “I got Nicki…I know they mad at that. When we run into them ain’t no pass for that,” Hip Hop DX reports.

In another video, Meek Mill can be heard rapping, “I can’t wait until we run into ya / Ima put a gun in ya,” leading some fans to interpret the lyrics as a physical threat against Drake given the nature of their ongoing feud.

Despite rumors suggesting that Meek Mill has plans to physically confront Drake about their dispute, a source close to Meek Mill recently revealed to TMZ that the rapper’s track isn’t “about anyone in particular” and that Meek is trying to “stay on the straight and narrow” given the recent developments in his probation violation case.

As for whether or not Drake may have another Meek Mill diss planned for his own upcoming album, sources close to Drake previously told Billboard that Drake has been taking “a lot of fuel” from his beef with Meek Mill to help pen some new music for Views From The 6.
