Josh Duggar Expecting Fifth Child With Anna Duggar Amid Sex Scandal, Sexual Assault Lawsuit, And Rehab
Josh Duggar and his wife, Anna, reportedly have quite an unexpected surprise amid his highly publicized scandal. According to Hollywood Life, the former 19 Kids & Counting stars are expecting their fifth child together. Despite their rumored separation in the wake of Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal where he admitted to molesting his younger sister years ago, they’ve reportedly conceived another child while Josh was away in a rehabilitation facility in Rockford, IL.
In addition to the highly publicized molestation scandal, Josh Duggar was also hit with a sexual assault lawsuit filed by adult film star Danica Dillon. That affair was reportedly made public when the Ashley Madison website’s user accounts were compromised.
Following the Ashley Madison leak, Josh Duggar also admitted he was addicted to pornography which led to his stint in rehabilitation. While in rehab, news outlets began reporting about the possibility of Josh and Anna Duggar divorcing. However, those rumors have been refuted now that Anna is reportedly pregnant.

A family insider has spoken with Life & Style about the pregnancy and Anna’s reaction to having another child with Josh Duggar due to his indiscretions. However, she’s not reacting the way most people would assume. Apparently, Anna now sees their unborn child as a “sign that God has forgiven Josh for his many sins.”
“Anna announced that she thinks she is pregnant again,” the family insider told Life & Style. “She believes the baby is a sign that God has forgiven Josh for his many sins, and she’s vowed to stand by her husband.”
The latest announcement follows a string of rumors about the couple’s impending divorce. Shortly after the molestation claims were reported, Josh Duggar was hit with a number of other allegations. All of the controversies have reportedly contributed to Anna Duggar’s decision to separate from her husband despite the family’s disapproval of divorce.

Although the rumors had not been confirmed, Anna reportedly packed up her belongings and their children to go back to her parent’s home in Florida. For months, she reportedly refused to visit Josh Duggar, but the one time she did go is most likely the time she became pregnant with their fifth child. According to Starcasm, the couple did have a “conjugal overnight visit,” which is the only time they’d spent together during those months since Anna had been in Florida.

Although Josh is facing an uphill legal battle with Danica Dillon, Anna has vowed to stand by his side through all of the ups and downs. Anna believes the treatment Josh has been receiving at the facility has made him a better person and that he’s serious about resolving the problems in their marriage.
As expected, many social media users are very appalled about the idea of Anna expecting another baby with Josh Duggar in the wake of his sex scandal. But, at this point, the pregnancy reports are still considered speculation since Josh and Anna Duggar still have not confirmed the family insider’s claims. The next couple weeks should be quite telling.
