Kate Hudson Stands By Her Stepfather Kurt Russell And Ex-Fiancé Matt Bellamy
Kate Hudson had a wonderful holiday season. According to Vogue, Kate Hudson flaunted her own brand of holiday fashion this Christmas season. Apparently, Hudson can easily pull off Denver Broncos pajamas, which she was wearing when she posed with her son in front of the fireplace.

Yahoo! News reports that Kate Hudson also took some time with friends over the holidays, getting away to ski in Aspen, Colorado. Apparently, there was drunk skiing and much merry making. Hudson even posted a cute photo of herself with a glass of bubbly, checking out her phone, and wearing a shirt with a unique saying on it.
“I’m not stalking, I’m browsing.”
While in Colorado, Kate Hudson also hung out with fellow actress Dakota Johnson, as well as their celebrity mothers, Goldie Hawn (Hudson’s mom) and Melanie Griffith (Johnson’s mom). Griffith posted a great photo of the four ladies on Instagram.
“Goldie, Dakota, Kate and me having some giggles in Aspen! Mother-Daughter times are the best!!!”
It certainly looks like they all had fun. However, Kate Hudson also had fun spending Christmas day with her ex-fiancé, rock star Matt Bellamy. ABC News reports that although the couple broke their engagement in 2014, they are still friends and chose to spend the Christmas holidays as a family with their son, Bing. Hudson even posted a Christmas greeting on Instagram with a photo of her and Bellamy.

Despite this apparently happy family image, last November, Kate Hudson told Harper’s Bazaar that she is perfectly content as a single mom.
“It’s good to take a second to make my life about getting myself centered, clearing the energy, no overlapping. I’m at that age now. I really do feel very lucky. I’ve had my kids and my relationships. I’ve set my life down — I’m in my house, and I’m alone with my children — and I’m at peace, and that’s a really nice feeling. All I really want in my life is to maintain that.”
Kate Hudson also spoke of relationships and how hard it is to let go of them.
“It’s hard to let go of something, even when you know that it’s not right. I’ve chosen something in my life that I’m very comfortable with that goes against a lot of people’s more traditional feelings. If something’s not right, I don’t believe in maintaining something for the sake of what’s considered a traditional family, because I believe that there are different ways to raise children. It’s far more effective to raise children in happy homes.”
Kate Hudson certainly grew up in a loving family and now is a time for family support. Hudson loves her stepdad, the famous Kurt Russell, so it isn’t surprising that she accompanied him and her equally famous mother, Goldie Hawn, to a reception held for Russell’s new movie, The Hateful Eight. Daily Mail reports that Hudson looked stunning in a lace pencil skirt.
But that’s not all Kate Hudson is doing with her stepdad. People reports that Hudson and Russell are slated to present an award together at the Golden Globe Awards, which takes place on Sunday, January 10. That will be a star-studded evening that many fans of both the big and small screen look forward to each year.
Clearly, Kate Hudson has everything together and is living a life full of happiness, love, and a sense of peace that everyone strives for. Good for you, Kate Hudson! Good luck in 2016!
