‘Twilight’ Stars Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner Secretly Dating? Did Team Jacob Finally Come Out On Top Over Team Edward?

In a surprising twist, Kristen Stewart may be heading back into the arms of a former Twilight co-star, and no, it’s not Robert Pattinson. According to the Daily Mail, Stewart was recently spotted hanging out with Taylor Lautner in West Hollywood. Does this mean the two are secretly dating? Did Team Jacob pull one over on Team Edward and get the girl?

The two Twilight co-stars were seen at The Nice Guy in Hollywood earlier this week. They both wore baseball hats during their outing and were joined by a number of unnamed friends.

Stewart and Lautner starred in the hit vampire series together, which included all five movies. Although the franchise proved to be a massive boost to both of their careers, Stewart recently told the Hollywood Reporter that her part in the Twilight series wasn’t all good.

“I did Twilight when I was 17, it came out when I was 18 and my life was never even remotely the same,” Stewart explained in the interview. “[It was] a huge lifestyle shift… but a whole lot of other baggage — really heavy and really cool baggage — came along with it.”

While the two stars were joined by a car full of friends, Stewart’s girlfriend, Alicia Cargile, was not spotted during the outing. Is this an indication that the meet up between Lautner and Stewart was more than just a simple Twilight reunion? Why wasn’t Cargile at Stewart’s side?

According to the Morning Ledger, it does not appear as though there is any romance brewing between the former co-stars, despite Cargile’s absence. Lautner and Stewart have remained close friends since the end of the Twilight series, and the latest sighting was more than likely a friendly get together.

The friendly nature of their meeting was collaborated by a report by TMZ. Apparently, Lautner and Stewart arrived together for the evening but left in separate vehicles. Lautner departed the bar with a different girl while Stewart remained behind with her friends.

The rumors that Lautner and Stewart might be in a relationship follow speculation that Stewart was caught cheating on Cargile. However, Cargile and Stewart recently dispelled such rumors after being spotted in Los Angeles over the holiday. Given their public outing in celebration of New Year’s Eve, all seems well with the couple.

At the same time, Stewart recently opened up about her sexual preference and explained how much she hates labeling people. Stewart was then asked if she would ever come out and publicly announce her sexual preference, to which she responded in vague terms.

“Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving … I don’t,” she stated. “I’m just a kid making movies.”

Kristen Stewart was involved in a relationship with Robert Pattinson during the production of the Twilight movies. The two eventually called it quits after reports surfaced that Stewart had an affair with one of her directors.

Speaking of Pattinson, the Twilight alum who originally won over Stewart’s heart is currently engaged to British singer FKA twigs. While the two have yet to announce a wedding date, it is expected that the two will tie the knot at some point in 2016.

Meanwhile, as far as Latuner is concerned, the actor recently broke up with his girlfriend, Marie Avgeropoulos. While this makes him a single man, there is not indication that he is looking for a relationship with Stewart. Instead, Lautner has kept himself busy with a number of different film projects, including his part in Adam Sandler’s new movie, The Ridiculous 6.
