Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks, stars of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta"

DonJuan Clark Criticizes Phaedra Parks For Todd Tucker’s ‘Allowances’ From Kandi Burruss Comment, Reveals ‘RHOA’ Edited Scenes

DonJuan Clark is none too pleased about what he heard come out of Phaedra Parks’ mouth on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in regards to Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. DonJuan posted a tweet that criticized Phaedra for making fun of Todd’s career and implying that Kandi takes care of him financially.

On Sunday night’s episode, Phaedra and Todd finally had a one-on-one meeting to discuss the money owed over a pregnancy workout DVD that Todd worked on for Phaedra years ago. On last week’s episode, Phaedra told co-star Porsha Williams that she already paid Todd thousands of dollars and didn’t get a finished product out on the market. Todd came to the meeting prepared with documents showing that Phaedra still owes him the final payment, amounting to $8,500, for the work that he did on the DVD. Phaedra countered that at the time that he asked for the final payment, she was under a lot of stress and had to focus on her family and her health because her husband, Apollo Nida, was going to jail. While Phaedra and Todd remained polite to one another during the meeting, they both made snide comments about the other during their interviews.

Phaedra made light of Todd’s career as a TV producer and said that he must now be asking for money since “his weekly allowance from Ms. Kandi isn’t keeping him afloat anymore.” “It’s my name on this video, so I’ll be the one to say when it’s done and then Todd can get his check,” she added with a smile. “Phaedra can’t pay me because she’s a single mother? Come on! Get out of here! Cut the check and stop playing,” said Todd.

While Phaedra still didn’t write a check for Todd, they did seem to come to an agreement over what still needed to be done on the project.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, both Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss seemingly responded to Phaedra Parks’ dig at Todd’s career by pointing out that Todd produced three shows that aired on three different networks in 2015 alone. Kandi also explained that Todd asked for his final payment “well before” Apollo went to prison. Kandi even tweeted that Phaedra would have had her product years ago if she made the final payment.

Besides criticizing Phaedra Parks, DonJuan Clark also defended his behavior towards Phaedra and Porsha Williams. On last week’s episode, DonJuan lashed out at Phaedra and Porsha after overhearing them talking, in a way that he felt was negative, about Phaedra’s money dispute with Todd while standing outside a party that Kandi threw to celebrate her new single with Demetria McKinney. On the latest episode, during another party, DonJuan called Porsha “so phony” and refused to leave Kandi’s side when Porsha asked to speak to her alone. While DonJuan apologized to Porsha for his aggressive behavior, he stood by his stance that she and Phaedra shouldn’t have had that conversation at the party.

As the episode aired, DonJuan posted a tweet that seemingly responded to viewers’ criticized that he drummed up drama between the women.

DonJuan Clark also posted a lengthy Instagram post in which he revealed that some things were edited out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. He explained that while outside Kandi’s music single party, Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks were actually not just talking about the money dispute with Todd Tucker but were talking badly about the music video, in an area where there were media personnel and bloggers around.

“In relation to the convo you received an edited version, Shamea actually confirmed (in that office convo) that they talked about Demetria and her dancing and more with the video that they had just watched, this was edited out!…I felt it was wrong for that convo to happen outside the event where you just saw the artist and their guests, that was not the time or place to talk bad about any part of the project as Kandi is executive producer so a diss to it is a diss to her!…Also I was not eavesdropping that was edited I walked by!”
