Is Britney Spears Furious About Sharing Stage with Jennifer Lopez In Las Vegas?
According to the print edition of Life & Style, Britney Spears is angry about sharing her stage with Jennifer Lopez. Gossip Cop describes Life & Style‘s story in their print edition.
According to Life & Style, Spears is ‘irate’ that she now has to share her stage with Jennifer Lopez.’ The tabloid quotes a so-called ‘source’ as saying, Spears is ‘doing everything she can to make sure J. Lo is out of town within weeks.’ The same supposed ‘source’ adds that Spears requested to have larger props built for her show so she can take over the prop space J. Lo has, just to make her feel unwelcome.”
This sounds like something that could have an ounce of credibility, especially given that both Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears have larger-than-life personalities. However, Gossip Cop looked into the story and, once again, put the breaks on a false rumor.
“Gossip Cop looked into this new(ish) claim and we’re exclusively told the magazine’s story about Spears being irate and trying to hinder Lopez’s upcoming Las Vegas show is completely stupid and wrong,” author Michael Lewittes claims.
“Britney was performing her show Saturday night at Planet Hollywood when her harness — which is supposed to send her soaring over the crowd — failed, leaving her stranded atop a tree.”
TMZ notes that this isn’t the first time Spears had a mishap at her Las Vegas show; at the beginning of her residency, Spears’ body suit came undone. Still, the comments after the article on Spears’ mishap are quite mean.
“Too bad the harness didn’t break while she was over the crowd,” claims commenter “sweaty.”
“Who would pay to see that show? She looks like a soccer mom doing a pole dancing class…badly,” claims Jason Downs.
The comments about Britney’s mishap on Twitter were quite mean as well.

However, there were people who wished Britney well.

According to EOnline, Lopez tells the magaizine that her children Max and Emme go with her everywhere, and she gets help taking care of the kids from her mother, Guadalupe, and her sister, Lynda. Lopez uses FaceTime with her twins in the afternoon, and if she comes home after they’ve gone to sleep, Lopez actually takes a picture of herself by their beds so they know she was there.
Jennifer Lopez will begin her residency at the Axis at Planet Hollywood on January 20. The first bunch of shows will end on February 9. Lopez will then start the second leg of her residency on May 22. Judging from Lopez’s recent performance at the American Music Awards, her shows should be exciting.
