Rob Kardashian At Risk For A Heart Attack Or Stroke, Kidneys & Pancreas Failing?

Rob Kardashian’s health issues may be bigger than diabetes. Although initial reports regarding Rob Kardashian’s recent hospitalization claimed the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had been diagnosed with diabetes after undergoing various tests, a couple of new reports claim there’s more trouble ahead.

“His pancreas is basically not functioning,” a family insider told Radar Online of the 28-year-old reclusive Rob Kardashian. “He also has kidney problems. He’s very, very sick.”

According to TMZ, Rob Kardashian was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after falling ill over the weekend. After his condition worsened in the days after Christmas, his family became alarmed, and ultimately, he opted to seek medical care. The site also listed June 2015 as the most recent time Rob Kardashian was photographed publicly. At the time, he was pictured wearing a black T-shirt as he visited a burger joint in Los Angeles.

At the time of Rob Kardashian’s hospitalization, his mother, Kris Jenner, 60, was on vacation with boyfriend Corey Gamble, but after becoming “worried and upset” by her son’s condition, she immediately left her trip early to be closer to him.

Radar Online claimed Rob Kardashian’s pre-hospitalization symptoms included “experiencing excessive sweating and irregular breathing.”

“[Rob Kardashian] did not even want to go to the hospital,” sources claimed. “His family made him.”

Since leaving Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2012, Rob Kardashian has been living with his sister, Khloe, and steadily packing on major pounds. In fact, as Jenner revealed on the E! Network reality series in early 2015, Rob Kardashian gained a whopping 100 pounds in just one year as he also faced symptoms of depression.

Continuing on with bad news regarding Rob Kardashian’s dire health, a second report alleged his heart and brain have already been affected by his diabetes.

“Once diabetes hits the pancreas, it means the disease has already affected the brain and heart,” Dr. Stuart Fischer, a New York internist, explained to Radar Online on December 31. “So [Rob Kardashian] is at a very high risk for heart attack and stroke.”

In addition, claimed the source, Rob Kardashian may also need kidney dialysis, and if he is abusing alcohol, which may or may not be the case, he could be inflicting more harm to his pancreas.

“Alcohol intoxication causes pancreatitis, when the pancreas over-secretes hormones and literally explodes in the abdomen,” said Dr. Fischer.

As for what the doctor would recommend, she suggested rehab as an option for Rob Kardashian.

“Rehab might be just what he needs in order to grasp reality and get help,” Dr. Fischer continued. “[Rob Kardashian]’s hitting rock bottom. He needs to get healthy, or he risks death.”

Rob Kardashian has remained silent for the last several weeks, even on social media. Although he does share tweets and new photos at times, despite being nearly in hiding, Rob Kardashian has refrained from giving fans any updates on Twitter since November 13, 2015. Meanwhile, his latest post on Instagram was shared eight weeks ago in honor of his mother’s birthday.

“MAMA I LOVE YOU!! P. O. P. Holding it down…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL MAMA,” he wrote, along with a paparazzi photo of himself and his mother.

Although there were rumors regarding Rob Kardahian’s season 11 comeback to Keeping Up with the Kardashians, he has not yet been featured on the show, and doesn’t appear to be a part of the season. However, in September, an Us Weekly source revealed he had been filmed.
