Connecticut Mom Filmed Herself Abusing Baby, Sent Threatening Texts and Video to Child’s Father
A young Connecticut mother has been arrested and charged with several counts related to abusive treatment of a child after a horrifying campaign in which she engaged to torment the father of her baby.
20-year-old Kellie Park has been charged with assault, intentional cruelty, risk of injury to a child, and threatening after police say the father of her small daughter reported receiving a series of text messages and videos showing the woman both physically and psychologically harming the child in order to inflict distress on him.
Police say former boyfriend of Park, Erick Vece, received more than 50 transmissions from the allegedly abusive young mom on June 9th, describing a litany of abuse carried out on the 10-month-old baby girl. In one video, a baby gate falls on the little girl, and Park allegedly said to the child trapped beneath, “don’t you get it? Your father doesn’t care, so guess what, I’m not gonna care.”
In another clip, a police affidavit says that Park is seen pushing the child with her feet, telling the baby she “makes [Park's] life miserable and that [Park] hates her.”
ABC describes more of the alleged abuse, explaining:
“Park texted Vece “ill [expletive] break her face,” and “call the cops im. Sending nice pictures haaha,” telling him, “I love abusing this kid,” according to the police affidavit… The child “appears terrified and traumatized,” and “appears to be crying in pain in some of the videos as a result [ of her mother's] actions,” according to the police affidavit.”
Park, who had previously petitioned the court for child support, was arrested on June 20th and is being held in a local correctional facility.

Unfortunatly this girl has probably had the same thing done to her…it is a learned behavior. It doesn't excuse what she has done but she has major issues of abondonment and abuse herself and should have never had a child of her own until she dealt with her issues. So sad…the father probably has the same issues as well. The child need to be put up for adoption.

i dont think thats true. if this father truly wanted his child, he would have had custody. I know quite a few single dads and they were able to obtain custody after the mother was deemed unfit. I think the woman is evil but this guy is no saint. No cop would ignore a video like this.

She had petitioned the court for child support so Dad's wallet wasn't open yet, even though he apparently admits to being the father. I would imagine he can get custody if he wants it. Not all dad's are victims of a cruel and unfair system, some of them are POS's too. It is supposed to be about what is best for the child, not what Daddy or Mommy want. Where does it say that he wasn't supporting the child?? Just because you petition for child support doesn't mean he wasn't paying before that, it can mean they had a private situation and she wanted to make it legal, and/or she decided she wasn't getting enough attention from him and took him to court. Just because he no longer wanted to be with her, doesn't mean he no longer wanted to be with/support his child. It does say he got 50 texts ON JUNE 9th, ONE DAY, so I'm guessing it didn't take the POLICE long to respond, it took them time to verify information and get the warrants around. And just because it is taking this long to hit the news, normally family matters are not subject to freedom of information act because they involve minors. So it takes a while for mainstream media to get their little paws on them. And distort the truths.

Wow, thanks to some of you ladies, I've made my point. The hate towards fathers is overflowing. With absolutly no information and after everything this woman has done to this child , some of you are still trying to make out that it's the fathers fault. Nowhere does it say he wasn't providing support. Her petitioning for support is a normal requirement if the woman is seeking food stamps,etc. The state requires it. And how do you know that the father didn't try to get custody. In the US court system at this time a father has a .006% chance of getting custody if both parents have no outstanding problems. A woman can be a crack whore and still get custody as long as she tells the judge she is trying. Fathers constantly get screwed by family courts.

First off, I really wish they had a different labels for monsters like this other than 'mother', because no decent mother would ever stand for, let alone inflict, this kind of pain on her child. She is not a bit too good to be abused just like she did that innocent child. After which, she should be thrown in jail (at the very LEAST) and left there with no possibility for parole, and definitely no option to have contact with the child or regain any form of custody. @ Amy Maybe the dad wanted custody, yet it was refused due to this sick woman's lies and actions. We don't know if she was just as crazy before he left. Plus i could see how the whole well the baby is female and how would it look for the father to be granted custody over mom. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he is a saint, but I don't think we can say he didn't want custody.

50 texts in one day, I can send 50 texts, in less than an hour if I'm chatting with someone. So 50 texts are nothing. Everyone is acting like it takes forever to send a text. Just a bit of info, they are pretty much ummm INSTANT! Anyone see news shows on how parents used to get huge bills for texting before you could get unlimited? Ever hear the term they blew up my phone with texts? Damn 10 or 20 of them could have come in while he was waiting for the police to arrive, get off the number she sent and how long it took him to get in touch with the police. First off, it was just a text and no vid then they wouldn't have done anything, I had a voice message and a number of someone telling me they were going to blow up my house. Cops wouldn't do squat, not even call the number to find out what was up, and why you ask? Because they didn't say my name in the threat! It could have been a wrong number! PLEASE!
