Kyle Richards And Kathy Hilton Estranged Over Airing Dirty Laundry On ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’
Kyle Richards has been getting the short end of the stick for most of her life. She has been supportive of her sister Kim Richards, even when she didn’t deserve it. The last few years have been hard with the family, especially where sisterly love is concerned. Recently, Richards aired some dirty laundry on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills about her sisters, specifically Kathy Hilton. While it was addressed that Kyle Richards was uninvited to Nicky Hilton’s wedding, she ended up attending anyway. Usually this wouldn’t be a huge deal, but it rubbed Kathy Hilton the wrong way.
Just as Kyle Richards is repairing her incredibly broken relationship with Kim Richards, her relationship is strained with Kathy Hilton. According to People, Kyle Richards was not invited to Kathy Hilton’s annual Christmas party, and neither was Kim Richards. The sisterly love has been broken apart, maybe even for good this time. While the airing of the private business on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wasn’t the end of the world, it was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Hilton.

On top of all of this, Kyle Richards is working on a new show loosely based on her life. This will include moments with both Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards, though neither are on board with the idea. This topic was the lead-in to the conversation that happened on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills where Richards discussed Nicky Hilton and being uninvited to the wedding. Filming happened back in the summer, and it appears not much has changed with the situation. Apparently, Kathy Hilton was incredibly upset that Kyle Richards even addressed the subject and name-dropped her daughter. Hilton has never wanted to be a part of the reality franchise and it seems to bother her that both of her sisters decided to get on board.
With everything Kyle Richards has had to deal with between her two sisters, it is amazing she has stayed sane through it all. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has highlighted much of the drama between Kyle and Kim Richards, but there hasn’t been much coverage of the dilemmas with Kathy Hilton. There has been bad blood between the sisters since Richards’ husband Mauricio left the Hilton franchise and started his own successful company, which directly competes with his brother-in-law. That is part of the reason he was not invited to Nicky Hilton’s wedding despite his wife attending.
Many fans wonder if Kyle Richards believes doing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has contributed to the downfall of the family. According to Parade, Kyle Richards does not regret doing the show at all. With the bad comes the good, even though sometimes it more of the bad and less of the good. There have been a lot of arguments chronicled on the reality show, including talks about how the sisters acted when their mother died. Kim Richards acted out badly last season, and a lot of the family issues were thrown into the forefront because they were being aired on reality television.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills plays out for Kyle Richards. There will be a short return for Kim Richards on the show, and it will determine how the dynamic has been for the sisters. It looks like they are rekindling a bond, but Kyle Richards is estranged from Kathy Hilton. It seems the Hiltons want to remain out of the spotlight and even though they are directly related to the Richards sisters, they want their private lives to remain intact. While it may have been in poor taste for Kyle Richards to talk about Nicky Hilton’s wedding, it is typical of what happens in the world of reality television. Will Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton repair their sisterhood, or walk away for good?
