Kate Middleton Insists On New Years Holiday After Hard-Working Autumn? Style Copied By Princess Victoria Of Sweden
There’s no question that Kate Middleton has stepped up her work ethic and followed through on her royal obligations since returning from her maternity leave. The Duchess has been going non-stop and has demonstrated to onlookers just how much substance and integrity she has by being a fervent supporter and advocate for mental health organization and charities that benefit struggling youth as well as the education of children across every spectrum, including the arts and outdoor education. Middleton, previously known as a young royal who is all image and no substance, seems adamant to rid herself of this reputation.
The 33-year-old mother of two and wife to Prince William also has plans to begin an organic food line and to continue being more vocal at public appearances. Reports suggest that Kate is brushing up on her public speaking abilities in order to enable her to make not only appearances at events but to also make her voice heard and perspective on issues known.
It’s only right that the hard-working mom feels deserving of a bit of time off to spend with her newly-expanded family of four over the Christmas season. Rumors have started to swirl involving the Duchess’ request for a bit of time off from her royal obligations. Of course, the tabloid Celeb Dirty Laundry is all over reporting on the subject, but whether the reports are true or not remains to be verified.
The gossip publication outlines the supposed scenario that has recently played out between the royals.
“Have big ears at Kensington Palace overheard Kate complaining about the heavy workload to Prince William? The Duchess of Cambridge has allegedly been battling with both Carole Middleton and Queen Elizabeth over Christmas plans.”
The typical holiday offered to William and Kate, during which they are free from royal duties, falls in mid-February. However, after such hard work and seeing as March 2016 involves more travel and stops in various countries for the monarchy, the Duchess and Duke are hoping for a tropical vacation over New Year’s.
The publication notes just how busy and dedicated Kate and her hubby have been over the autumn months.
“The Cambridge’s have been to Scotland and Wales, attended a State dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping, and dazzled at the Diplomatic Reception. In addition to the important galas honoring word leaders and dignitaries, the Cambridge’s schedules have been packed with many appearances at events for charities close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s hearts.”
It’s a well-known fact that no matter how tirelessly Middleton works, and no matter how many long journeys she has to make or midnight feedings she’s summoned for, the Duchess always is sure to be as stylish as ever. It seems as though other young female royals are looking to Kate for inspiration as well.
The Daily Mail points out that Princess Victoria of Sweden has been spotted in a lovely dress that is a very close match to one Middleton had been spotted in last year while pregnant, as Victoria is. The publication notes the 38-year-old heir to the Swedish throne’s ensemble.
“The Princess, who wore her dark hair in a simple ponytail, opted for a fitted Empire Line dress from Seraphine, £99, with a pleated overlay that cascaded over her bump – the same dress the Duchess of Cambridge wore almost exactly a year ago to attend a meeting with the 1851 Trust in London. Victoria teamed it with a matching clutch and mid-height stilettos, along with some jewel-encrusted earrings; and opted for a paired-down make-up look.”
Even the royals are inspired by the Duchess.
