Justin Bieber Jokes About 14-Year-Old Girls At Charity Concert But At Least He Called Himself Out

Justin Bieber, like everyone else, makes inappropriate jokes sometimes. We all get foot-in-mouth, right? Well, the Biebs is no exception.

The superstar’s snafu — which was about 14-year-old girls and clearly said in a joking manner — took place during a charity concert Bieber performed at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Canada, on Monday night (December 7).

The event was called, “An Acoustic Evening With Justin Bieber.” All the proceeds of the $100-a-head sold out show went to a food bank that provides food, clothing, and resources to the needy in the singer’s Stratford hometown.

While riffing onstage to the 1,500-strong audience during the live-streamed show, the Biebs made an off-the-cuff joke about 14-year-old fans on the way to a punchline about 18-year-olds. It’s worth noting that he quickly corrected himself.

In between songs, the singer joked, “Who’s 13? We got any 14-year-olds? Uh, so… 14,” he said, before counting on his fingers up to 18.

“Four more years until you’re 18,” he said, implying the years he’d have to wait until he could legally date girls. The hitmaker then smiled and told himself off saying, “Too much, Justin.”

Take a look at the moment on a fan-obtained video below.

As is widely known, Bieber’s first love ex-girlfriend, the actress-singer Selena Gomez, is two years older than Justin. Despite this, and no known incidents of him ever dating a fan, most of today’s gossip reports mentioned the Canadian’s recent search for a random girl he took a shine to on Instagram.

Earlier this week, the heartthrob posted an Instagram of a previously unknown girl’s selfie asking “Omg who is this!!” With 47.5 million feelers diligently seeking out the then-mystery girl, it wasn’t long before her purported identity was revealed as Cindy Kimberly, or “WolfieCindy,” as she is known on Instagram.

Cue Kimberly’s very sudden introduction to thousands more followers and news outlets asking for information about her.

“I so do not know how to deal with this but I only have Instagram and tumblr so whatever other stuff people are finding is fake (I did used to have a twitter account but I deactivated),” she eventually wrote, next to an Instagram post.

Although Cindy (if that is indeed her real name) previously shared a video of herself listening to Bieber’s “No Sense,” which features the rapper Big Sean, there’s no news yet on whether the pair got in contact.

Moving on from the singer’s Instagram activity, Bieber is set to perform one of his current hits “Sorry” on The Voice for the Season 9 finale along with a raft of huge artists.

Coldplay will knocking out “Adventure of a Lifetime,” The Weeknd rendering a medley of “Earned It,” “The Hills,” and “Can’t Feel My Face,” Missy Elliott will unleash her comeback single “WTF (Where They From)” with Voice coach Pharrell Williams, and the Best New Artist Grammy nominee Sam Hunt will perform his country hit “Break Up in a Small Town.” Other performers may join the lineup.

On Tuesday, NBC revealed contestants Barrett Baber, Emily Ann Roberts, Jordan Smith, and Jeffery Austin will represent this year’s The Voice finalists and compete for the trophy.

They will be judged by Williams, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine in the two-hour results finale.

As for the “inappropriate comment” story? Sure, Justin Bieber may want to tone up his inter-song banter, but at least he was self-aware enough to rap himself on the knuckles over what was clearly intended as a joke.
