Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie ‘$850,000 Divorce’ Is A Lie But New Orleans Home Going For A Song

Some tabloids are not happy unless they can publish a juicy divorce rumor. However, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly not getting a “$480 million divorce.” They are, however, dropping the price on their French Quarter home for anyone in the market for a luxury celeb house.

According to Gossip Cop, the latest issue of the National Enquirer clearly announces “the end” of the marriage of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The supermarket tabloid, which hit the newsstands Wednesday, claims the marriage is over due to a “cheating scandal” and that the whole divorce is going to cost a hefty “$480 million.”

In its latest edition, National Enquirer reportedly displays photos of Angelina chatting to an unidentified crew member on the set of her new movie in Cambodia.

According to the tabloid, this is clear proof that she is “two-timing” Brad. Their source was a so-called friend on the set who they quote as saying, “To Brad, it’s emotional cheating. He got word from sources on the set and he exploded!”

The “insider source” went on to say that the close nature of Jolie’s relationship with the crew member became the subject of speculation and gossip among the cast and crew, saying she appears to hang on to his every word. Angelina Jolie reportedly appears to be “positively enamored with this man.”

As a side note, you can see the cover also mentions Charlie Sheen’s “sicko sex den” and the “fact” that Bill Cosby only has five weeks to live.

However, as Gossip Cop points out, it is interesting to note that the tabloid has these details and yet cannot name the man she is reportedly enamored with, nor what job he is actually performing on the set.

But wait, there’s more! Reportedly the National Enquirer then goes on to say Brad went “drinking with a stunning blond and his War Machine co-star, Meg Tilly” as “revenge.” Again, it seems the rag couldn’t name the “stunning blond.”

As Gossip Cop reminds us, this was the same magazine that announced in March that Brangelina’s marriage was over with a “$425 million divorce” on the way. At least they took inflation into account with the latest divorce rumor. More reliable sources assured Gossip Cop that the latest rumors are just as false.

Meanwhile Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt — the actual and reportedly happily married couple — are having problems in one respect, and that is offloading their luxurious French Quarter home. Brangelina are now offering a discount to anyone interested in purchasing the house.

Originally listed in May at $6.5 million, the stunning 7,656 square foot French Quarter home has now had a $850,000 drop in price and is now on the market for a mere $5,650,000.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their six kids are looking for another suitable home down the road and more off the beaten path for their New Orleans vacations.

According to a statement emailed to Nola.com, the celeb couple will “remain committed to, and infatuated as ever with the city of New Orleans, and will continue to focus on growth in the lower 9th through the Make It Right Foundation.” Said foundation has done so much good in the area, building safe and sustainable homes in the area most devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

For those interested in purchasing the home from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, it is a three-story, five bedroom mansion which was once the recording studio of Cosimo Matassa and is an “exquisite, historic French Quarter masonry mansion (circa 1830).”

Reportedly, it boasts “balconies [that] overlook the very private, landscaped courtyard complete with parterres [and] a cocktail pool, and a “grand spiral staircase, Venetian plastered walls, marble mantles, gourmet kitchen, Spanish slate roof, elevator, fireplaces, separate two-story guesthouse and parking for two cars.”

Not too shabby for anyone with just under $6 million in their pocket.
