Selena Gomez Sweetly Serenaded By Justin Bieber But Swoons For Zayn Malik: Twitter Explodes For ‘Jelena’ [Video]

Selena Gomez has recently returned to the dating scene after a highly publicized split from Justin Bieber. And now, from how she feels about former One Direction singer Zayn Malik to what Selena really feels about Bieber, Gomez is ready to tell all, reported People.

At 23, Selena emphasizes that she’s single, but that becoming involved in a new romance when you’re a celebrity isn’t what it seems like in the tabloids.

“I hate it. It’s hard,” admits Gomez. “I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened.”

In addition, Selena shocks with what she feels has prevented her from her dream of dating older men. Although she’s viewed as adorable, being cute isn’t in her best interests, insists Gomez.

“I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys,” admits Selena.

As for those reports that Gomez is involved with Zayn Malik? Well, yes and no, she quibbles.

“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding,” says Selena.

Then there’s the Justin Bieber question. Are they back together after the highly-publicized serenade she received from Bieber, described below?

“I’m just tired of talking about it. I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story,” says Selena Gomez firmly.

When it comes to fans of the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez combination (known as “Jelena”), Justin Bieber seems to be all for it, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Not for more than 12 months had Bieber and Gomez been seen together in public. And then suddenly, reuniting at the Montage Beverly Hills, Justin seats himself in the hotel bar piano for a sweet serenade of “My Girl.”

The serenade was preceded by Bieber’s revelation to Ellen DeGeneres that he remains hopeful that he and Gomez could renew their romance.

“We have a lot of history together, so it could possibly happen. I think we’re both just on our own journeys, figuring ourselves out, and once we’ve figured ourselves out, we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo,” Justin declared.

In addition to that romantic serenade, Bieber and Gomez strolled together in Beverly Hills at night.

How did Twitter react to the return of Jelena? It went wild, reported VH1.

“aaaahhhhhhh selena and justin stop hanging out and get back together like now!!” pleaded Klyara.

“no wonder justin isn’t over selena i’m not over selena and i didn’t even date her,” chimed in Renee.

And some took their dreams of reconciliation and a renewal of the romance even further, insisting that tying the knot was in their future.

“I know Justin and Selena will end up marrying each other, mark this tweet,” insisted @ThaBizzleTeam.

But most fans just wanted to sigh happily over what they saw as proof that Bieber loved Gomez.

“there’s a million girls out there and Justin’s still madly in love with Selena. He really loves that girl,” declared @rauhlshearts.

While all those fans want Gomez and Bieber back together, the 23-year-old isn’t quite so enamored of her 21-year-old former boyfriend, according to The Cut.

Instead, was that question about dating Zayn Malik and the “kidding but not kidding” response from Selena an attempt to draw his attention without seeming to be too needy? That’s what some are theorizing, especially after she insisted that she doesn’t even want to discuss Bieber anymore.

“I’m just tired of talking about it,” said Gomez firmly.

Add that ammunition to her revelation that if Zayn asked her out on a date, she’s up for being seen with him, and it seems as if she’s managing her love life just fine without help from fans.
