Chris Brown’s Before The Party features 34 brand new tracks from the “Liquor” singer, including songs like “Roses Turn Blue,” “Scared To Love You,” “Go,” and “Ghetto Tales,” just to name a few.

In addition to providing fans with a hefty collection of new songs to hold them over until Royalty arrives next month, Chris Brown also excited fans with several star-studded collaborations on Before the Party.

Guests on Chris Brown’s new mixtape include Wale, Tyga, French Montana, Fetty Wap, Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Rowland, and Rihanna, Hot New Hip Hop reports.

While it’s only been a few hours since Chris Brown’s Before the Party became available for listening, fans have already taken to social media to weigh in on Brown’s feature with ex-girlfriend Rihanna and one heartbreaking track that is widely believed to have been written about Chris Brown’s split from Karrueche Tran.

Rihanna appears in the first track on Chris Brown’s mixtape, titled “Counterfeit,” alongside Wiz Khalifa and Kelly Rowland. In the sultry track, Rihanna and Chris Brown can be heard singing about “looking for love” while pairing their voices together to introduce the song’s chorus.

While neither Rihanna nor Chris Brown have mentioned their collaboration on social media, fans were quick to raise eyebrows at the exes’ sultry duet given the duo’s less-than-amicable split two years ago.

An alleged source close to Rihanna revealed to Hollywood Life that Rihanna “wanted to be featured on Chris’ new album and do a collaboration with him.”

Rihanna’s source also explains that “[Rihanna] would be hurt if she wasn’t [on his new album]” but neglected to comment on whether or not Chris Brown and Rihanna have another collaboration prepared for either Rihanna’s impending Anti album or Chris Brown’s Royalty, which has been pushed back to a December 18 release date.

In addition to Rihanna and Chris’ collaboration for “Counterfeit,” fans also took to Twitter and Instagram to comment on Chris Brown’s emotional track, “The Breakup,” which seemingly alludes to his headline-making split from Karrueche Tran earlier this year.

In “The Breakup,” Chris Brown sings about how he wishes he were the one who “couldn’t sleep” and couldn’t “live without the other one” before noting that he’s the one who is supposed to be “broken” from their breakup.

In addition to Chris Brown’s heartbreaking honesty about his split from Karrueche Tran, Brown also explains in his track that his responsibility to his daughter, Royalty, forced him to choose between keeping Karrueche Tran and dedicating himself to his daughter, ultimately creating a feud amongst Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran fans on social media.

One fan took to Twitter to argue, “Chris Brown did not say Karrueche made him choose between his daughter and her on ‘The Breakup,'” while another suggests, “karrueche really wanted chris brown to chose her over his child. that’s sad.”

Despite Chris Brown admitting that he “f***ed up” his relationship with Karrueche Tran on “The Breakup,” Chris Brown recently made headlines for allegedly dissing his ex-girlfriend in a teaser for a new song on Instagram.

In the since-deleted Instagram teaser for his new album, Chris Brown gave fans a first listen into some of the tracks that will appear on Royalty while lip-synching along to the lyrics.

In his alleged diss track about Karrueche, Brown can be seen bopping his head along to the music while mouthing, “I remember how we used to be in love / Now you’re in Hollywood tryna get your name up / Now when I look at you all I see is a stranger.”

Despite Chris Brown’s reported diss on ex-girlfriend Karrueche, it appears Brown is using his former relationship with Karrueche as inspiration for a new breakup anthem as well.
