Miranda Lambert Talks Blake Shelton Divorce As Gwen Stefani Cuddles With Country Crooner: Their Thanksgiving Plans!

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton recently finalized their divorce, and the country crooner has since been canoodling with Gwen Stefani, his fellow coach on The Voice. But Miranda is only opening up about her once beloved Blake for the first time now, reported ET.

Lambert and Shelton ended their marriage in July, and neither Miranda nor Blake dished on what caused their split — until now. Lambert finally is ready to reveal what happened in their relationship, and what it’s like to create a new post-Shelton existence.

“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” revealed Miranda.

While Blake segued to dating Gwen soon after his divorce from Lambert was finalized, Miranda isn’t quite so energized when it comes to the idea of investing time in a new romance.

“I had a great relationship with an amazing man,” mused Lambert, “so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”

What does Lambert anticipate will happen in the next stage of her life? At 32, Miranda has a unique definition of what it means to experience life. And she’s candid about the low points she admits she anticipates in the near future.

“Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now.’ “

But when it comes to her music, Lambert isn’t going to diminish that, despite her broken romance dreams. Instead, Miranda shares that when it comes to feeling sexy, it’s all about hitting the right note.

“I feel the sexiest when I’m in my element, which is playing music,” declared Lambert. “On stage with my band playing music is sort of where I feel like I belong and that makes me feel sexy.”

For Miranda, life without Blake still contains a reason to be grateful on Thanksgiving, and that’s her parents, reported Us Weekly.

Being single doesn’t have to mean being lonely when you’ve got parents like Lambert does, and Miranda revealed that her mom, Beverly Hughes, sent her a loving message, along with some extra-special treats that ranged from Cheetos to red wine.

While Lambert gets consoled by mom and dad, Gwen Stefani and Blake are spending their first Thanksgiving together, reported Radar Online.

Shelton is enthusiastic about being with his new girlfriend on Thanksgiving, and they haven’t been apart very much after the official confirmation came that Blake and Gwen were a couple. But while their fans can watch the romance blossom on The Voice, a source told Radar that it’s their relationship away from the invasive cameras that makes them happiest, and Shelton and Stefani may be taking a jet to Oklahoma for a country-style holiday weekend.

“Blake feels so blessed to be able to spend the holiday with Gwen and her three kids on Thanksgiving. He feels like the luckiest guy in the world,” added the insider.

As for what Shelton and Stefani will actually do together on turkey day, watching football plays a big role, a source told Hollywood Life.

“Like millions of people on Thanksgiving, Blake wants to watch football, and he wants to watch all the games with Gwen. He wants to make it a fun Thanksgiving. Gwen is all about it!”

But Stefani also is a mom to three sons who will want their own share of attention. That may mean that while cuddling on the couch with Shelton isn’t out as a way to give thanks on Thanksgiving, taking time for her children will also play a role in her holiday plans.
