Justin Timberlake Country Album Could Be Coming, According To Timbaland

Ever since Justin Timberlake performed at the 2015 CMAs with Chris Stapleton, fans have been talking about how he should make a country album. Justin did a great job on the show, and fans couldn’t get enough of him. Now USA Today is sharing that Timberlake may do a country album for his next new album. This news is coming straight from Timbaland, who isn’t afraid to admit he might go country as well. He spoke out to TMZ.

“We are country. He’s from Tennessee and I’m from Virginia. We were raised in the country. I gotta tap into country. I’m already posted up in Nashville. I don’t discriminate against any genres. I love it all.”

This would be great of Justin Timberlake made the decision to have a country album and his fans would embrace it. His performance on the CMAs was talked about for weeks and this was the night that a lot of fans also learned who Chris Stapleton was and fell in love with him as well. Timberlake and Stapleton together is magic and hopefully this would happen at least one more time. Stapleton is best-known for his amazing writing abilities, so you never know what he might come up with for Timberlake. Make sure that you check out his amazing performance at the CMAs. This was the one everyone could not stop talking about when the show was over.

Wide Open Country shared several months ago that Justin Timberlake was considering going country, but it never happened. Now that Timberlake has actually done a country performance it all makes more sense. In an interview with The Highway, Timberlake shared about how he needs to get back to his roots.

“[I] grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee. Listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock, you know, everything … I still got my eyes set on a Best Country Album. There is time for that.”

Justin Timberlake once had Garth Brooks join him on stage so that they could sing the song Friends In Low Places together. Over the years, Timberlake has shown more than once that he would be great with a country album. A lot of singers have changed their minds and tried country after doing rock for years. With already having a big fan base, it makes it pretty easy for them to break into the genre. Timberlake even owns a house just outside of Nashville with his wife Jessica Biel. This will make a country album a lot easier on him. Justin even shared that he knew Chris would be big about a year ago.

Timberlake has been staying busy with another huge accomplishment lately. People shared that Timberlake was chosen as People’s Sexiest New Dad for an upcoming issue. His son was born back in April. Timberlake shared details about how much he loves being a dad.

“I’ve never slept less and dealt with more poop and been SO excited about it!”

Justin Timberlake’s wife Jessica Biel even spoke out recently, saying that he is doing great at this dad thing. These two seem to be head over heels in love and a perfect couple. Their son, Silas Randall, is their first child together.
