Bethenny Frankel’s Divorce Heating Up: Is Jason Hoppy Causing Trouble?

Bethenny Frankel may have found a New York apartment, a Hamptons home, and she may be doing her best to run her business when she doesn’t have Bryn, but she is being highly criticized when it comes to her daughter. On The Real Housewives of New York, Frankel revealed that she would work hardcore when her daughter is with Jason and then be very dedicated to her while Bryn is in her care.

But Bethenny Frankel may not be realizing that her ex-husband is playing games. Supposedly, he may have an influence in what other people are now saying about her as a mother. It is no secret that he has played games with her before in this divorce, but character assassination is downright dirty.

According to a new Radar Online report, Bethenny Frankel’s divorce could be taking a turn for the worse. Hoppy has been “gearing up for a new round of custody hearings” concerning the couple’s daughter Bryn, 5. Even though the custody part of the divorce has been settled, it sounds like Hoppy could use every trick in the book to get more child support his way. The couple is currently battling over her fortune, which is why this divorce has been three years in the making. He’s already living in their million-dollar apartment, but he could be thinking about getting more support from Bethenny. Apparently, Frankel’s old neighbors are now speaking out against her.

“They’ve called her a bad mother who isn’t there for her child,” one insider has revealed, adding, “They despise Bethenny.”

But there are other people who understand that she simply wants to “be there for her child” and that Jason may be making the situation horrible. It is hard to believe people would call Bethenny a horrible mother, especially after catching up with her on The Real Housewives of New York. Bethenny often chose her daughter over the ladies, and she even designed her room for her in the new apartment.

It has been three years since Bethenny Frankel filed for divorce from Jason Hoppy. She briefly filed for separation but followed up with divorce just days after. One of the biggest items in their divorce is the former couple’s Tribeca apartment. They quickly settled custody with their daughter Bryn, but Jason wants his share of the money as she sold Skinnygirl while they were married.

Frankel “claims that she executed the trust agreement without understanding it. Specifically, she claims that when she signed, she believed, based on her communication with her husband, that the trust ‘was only to maintain privacy given her public recognition and that [the husband] would only be managing the property for her benefit. She never read the trust agreement before signing it, and does not recall ever being shown any part of it except for the signature page,” the court documents state, according to another Radar Online report.

“It is also undisputed that neither [Bethenny], [Jason], nor the trustee was ever present in the office” of the attorney who allegedly witnessed their signatures on the trust agreement, according to the documents, and none of them had ever met him before the agreement was signed either,” the report reveals.

These days, Jason seems to try everything in the book to get Bethenny Frankel to look like a horrible person. Frankel’s co-star, Carole Radziwill, revealed to viewers of The Real Housewives of New York that Hoppy was playing tricks with Frankel, including not answering the phone when she was calling her daughter to say goodnight.
