Texas Man Accused Of Pimping Toddler Out On Craigslist
A Texas man is in jail after authorities in Houston say he allegedly committed a crime involving a 4-year-old child. The Dreamin’ Demon reports that 28-year-old Andrew Turley used the popular site, Craigslist, to commit the crime of trafficking a child for monetary gain.
Police in Houston became aware of the man’s alleged activities when he posted an ad on Craigslist, asking for $1,000 in exchange for sexual activity with a 4-year-old girl. The title of the illicit Craigslist ad, “Play with Daddy’s little girl,” was posted in the “Casual Encounters” section of the popular website. Turley allegedly thought he was going to get what he was seeking in the advertisement, but authorities tricked him and posed as an interested client.
Over the course of nearly 70 emails, the Texas man allegedly explained that he wanted to pimp out the little girl, whom he described as being, “a girl younger than 10-years-old.” The man reportedly went as far as to schedule a date with the officer, letting the man know that he could do whatever he wanted with the child for two hours. The meeting was scheduled at an apartment complex, but it has not been confirmed if the apartment was the home of the 28-year-old man or the child in question.

ABC News 13 reported that an undercover officer arrived at the apartment, where he found a child much younger than 10-years-old. The officer alleged that the 4-year-old girl was on a small bed in the apartment, and appeared groggy as though under the influence of drugs. The Harris County prosecutor has provided statements regarding the incident.
“Lying in the small bed was a four-year-old girl, identified as a juvenile who appeared to be groggy and under the influence of an unknown substance and in and out of sleep.”
The relationship between the Texas man and the 4-year-old girl has not been clarified in media reports, but his Facebook page does state that he has a toddler son. Furthermore, none of his family members are talking to media sources in light of the allegations against him. ABC News 13 reports that at least two members of his family have hung up on reporters who have tried to reach them for comments.
Andrew Turley has been charged with crimes associated with trafficking a child and prostitution. Due to the age of the alleged victim and the nature of the details surrounding this case, the man could face years of imprisonment and thousands of dollars in fines. Currently, he is being held in jail on bond in the amount of $1 million, and is expected to face a judge as early as this week. No word has been given on whether or not he’s been able to post bond, but he allegedly told authorities that he will pay for his own attorney.
In this most recent case involving the Texas man, it’s not known at this time if the 4-year-old victim is in custody of authorities or family members. One thing is for certain, she has been rescued by the authorities from the crimes that could have been committed against her.
