‘Allegiant’ Trailer Release Date Revealed? How Theo James Makes Shailene Woodley Feel ‘Protected’ Filming ‘Divergent’ Series

Fans should be excited to learn that a brand new trailer for the upcoming film, The Divergent Series: Allegiant, is set to be released very soon. According to Movie News Guide, the trailer will feature new scenes involving Theo James and Shailene Woodley and will be released sometime this week.

The film is the third in the franchise based on the hit books by Veronica Roth. With the story continuing to develop in new and exciting ways, the movie is expected to feature more action scenes than ever before. This includes an expansion of the relationship between Four (James) and Tris (Woodley), both of whom are set to be the focal points in the movie.

In fact, things are set to get fairly interesting for the pair as they venture beyond the wall after the fallout from the events in Insurgent. As Four and Tris explore more of their world with each other, the Bureau of Genetic Warfare is set to arrest the duo and hold them captive.

Speaking of the relationship between Four and Tris, both James and Woodley recently shared their thoughts on being involved in the franchise together, and how their interactions on-screen have led to a close working relationship.

In an interview with In Style, Woodley revealed that acting alongside James has been a great experience for her. In fact, she even stated that he makes her feel comfortable in her role and that she wouldn’t have a problem being around James all day long.

“I had a lot of fun working with Theo. Having him by my side felt really reassuring and comfortable. I feel protected by him in a really great way,” Woodley stated in the interview. “I can be around Theo and laugh all day.”

At the same time, James echoed Woodley’s comments and added a few kind words of his own for his fellow co-star. “[Woodley has a] strong sense of self and a strong sense of how she wants to handle herself as an actress and as a person who is really unique and really strong,” James explained.

Woodley and James clearly have great on-screen chemistry, and their recent comments about each other have led to a lot of speculation that they are romantically involved off-screen. According to Fashion & Style, the rumors surrounding the potential pairing have even led to some difficulties with James’ real-life girlfriend, Ruth Kearney.

Apparently, the rumors first began after it was reported that Kearney and James were having issues in their relationship. Although it isn’t known whether or not the two are struggling to stay together, the obvious reason why they might be having issues would be because of how close James is to Woodley.

That being said, neither James nor Woodley have officially commented on a possible romantic relationship. While this is certainly not a clear indication that something is going on behind the scenes, their silence on the matter has also left many questioning whether there is some truth to the reports.

Meanwhile, the chemistry between Woodley and James is also one of the reasons why the franchise has been so successful. In fact, their characters are likely the reason why many fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the third film in the hit franchise. With the next movie set to feature their relationship developing even further, the interactions between Woodley and James are only going to grow more frequent.

The Divergent Series: Allegiant, which also stars Naomi Watts, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, and Zoe Kravitz, is set to hit theaters on March 18, 2016.
