Jonah Hill Joins ‘Django Unchained’ Cast

Jamie Foxx, Leonard DiCaprio, and Christopher Waltz have already filmed plenty of scenes for Quentin Tarantino’s new movie, “Django Unchained.” The film already has a trailer and is set to be released this December. But somehow, Tarantino is still making casting decisions. According to various reports, Jonah Hill has joined the cast of “Django Unchained.”

Tarantino offered Hill a role in the movie earlier this year but the “Superbad” actor had to decline due to prior engagements. It looks like Hill has been able to clear his schedule, however, and will start shooting with the “Pulp Fiction” director soon.

WebProNews reports that Django has had a bit of a rotating cast. Russell Brand and Kurt Russell were both previously attached to the movie but had to drop out for various reasons.

It’s unclear who Hill will be playing or how large his role will be in the new movie.

Hill was originally wanted to play Scott Harmony in the new movie but according to Deadline that is no longer the case.

NOLA.com reports that shooting on “Django Unchained” is scheduled to wrap up later this month, but the production is rumored to be a little behind schedule.

Here’s the trailer for the new Tarantino movie.
