Lamar Odom Update: Did Former NBA Star Leave A Suicide Note Before His Alleged Drug Overdose?

Did Lamar Odom attempt to take his own life at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada? Over two weeks after the former NBA star was found unconscious at the brothel, a rumor has hit the web, claiming Lamar Odom wrote a suicide note prior to being found.

On October 29, Radar Online reported news of the alleged suicide note, which they shared a photo of, claiming Lamar Odom was left wanting to take his own life after feeling that the Kardashian family took advantage of his heartache during a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

According to the report, Lamar Odom’s note, which was reportedly written in a bathroom at the brothel, read, “… they doing as in Mid-town in Broad day.”

“To a popular face light skinned, un popular by demand, dark skinned, olive toned, Mexican or the other of ****** and everybody put em up!”

Relationship expert Dr. Gilda Carle spoke to Radar Online about Lamar Odom’s writings, claiming the phrase “unpopular by demand” referred to his marriage to wife Khloe Kardashian, which had come to an end in 2013 amid rumors of drug use and affairs — and to the way the Kardashians were allegedly destroying him on their E! Network reality show.

“Khloe dumped [Lamar Odom] and established a new relationship with James Harden, another NBA star. But the Kardashians were still talking about him on their show. ‘Unpopular by demand’ is how he felt, and in his confused state it led him to try and take his life.”

While Dr. Carle’s comments are simply her expert opinion, and in no way confirm that the note was a suicide note, or that Lamar Odom was suicidal for that matter, it does make sense that he would be hurt by how his relationship with Kardashian played out.

In 2013, nearly four years after they wed, rumors began swirling, claiming Lamar Odom was using drugs and having affairs with a number of other women, three of whom came forward. Months later, in December of that year, Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom, but due to a judge’s failure to sign off on their finalization, which was done this past summer, the couple remained married at the time Odom was hospitalized, and for medical reasons, as well as others not mentioned, the split has since been called off.

A source close to Lamar Odom told Radar Online that his rumored suicide note was in regard to the October 11 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 10. The episode aired two days before Lamar Odom was found unconscious after an alleged heroin-and-cocaine “speedball” overdose.

“[Lamar Odom] was always full of life, but the episode really destroyed him,” a source alleged. “He felt used and exploited by the Kardashians. He realized the deep hurt they can cause knows absolutely no bounds.”

During an interview with People Magazine this week, Kardashian opened up about her decision to call off her and Lamar Odom’s divorce, saying, “It’s just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it’s just smarter that gets on hold for a minute. But that does not mean I’m back with [Lamar Odom]. That’s a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can’t tell you what tomorrow brings.”

Despite their split, Kardashian and Lamar Odom have kept in touch in the years since their relationship came to an end, and during an episode from last season’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian accused her sister of flirting with Lamar Odom on the phone.
