Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been making breakup headlines for the past few months, partly due to Pattinson and Twigs’ decision to delay their wedding due to conflicts with Pattinson’s filming schedule.
While sources close to both Robert and FKA Twigs insist that the couple’s relationship is doing just fine despite their growing time apart, rumors of an impending split for Pattinson and Twigs continue to worry fans.
The latest breakup rumor regarding Robert Pattinson’s relationship with FKA Twigs emerged earlier this week when a tabloid falsely reported that Pattinson has called off his engagement to Twigs after his fiancée allegedly “lost her temper” during an argument.
According to Hollywood Life, Pattinson become angry with FKA Twigs after she informed the Twilight actor that she would be unable to visit him on the set of his new movie due to scheduling conflicts.
A source from the site explains that FKA Twigs allegedly became enraged at Pattinson for giving her grief about her schedule, prompting Twigs to verbally “yell at him to stop complaining and hung up on him.”
The site further alleges that Pattinson and Twigs have gone “a long period” without speaking to one another and has led Robert Pattinson to end his engagement to Twigs.
Despite the claims, Gossip Cop reports that any rumors of an impending split for Pattinson and Twigs are completely false, noting that Pattinson “has been nothing but supportive” of FKA Twigs’ career.
The latest round of breakup rumors for Pattinson and Twigs comes just weeks after the couple made headlines for allegedly calling off their wedding due to Twigs’ desire to focus more on her career.
While a rep for both Pattinson and FKA Twigs immediately denied the claims, the couple has continued to be plagued with split rumors after announcing their decision to push back their wedding due to Twigs’ touring schedule and Pattinson’s filming schedule.
Pattinson and FKA’s wedding was initially reported to occur earlier this summer, but sources close to the Twilight actor and his fiancée admit that the couple opted to delay the wedding due to an evolving guest list.
Furthermore, sources close to Pattinson and Twigs shot down split rumors after the couple made another announcement regarding their delayed wedding plans, explaining that Pattinson’s film schedule for The Lost City of Z is preventing the duo from likely getting hitched this year.
A Pattinson insider explained to E! News that while the couple is currently apart for work, everything is “just fine” in the duo’s happy relationship.
“They haven’t drifted apart [despite claims], but they haven’t spoken as much lately because of [Robert Pattinson’s] filming schedule.”
The insider further explained that there “most likely won’t be a wedding this year,” but notes that neither Pattinson nor Twigs is in any hurry to exchange vows.
“There isn’t a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married.”
Robert Pattinson recently opened up about his love for FKA Twigs in a candid interview with NME in which he calls his fiancée an “amazing artist” before defending her against internet trolls that attempt to damage their relationship.
While neither Robert Pattinson nor FKA Twigs have spoken out about their future wedding plans, it doesn’t appear that Pattinson and Twigs are calling off their engagement anytime soon.
