NeNe Leakes Is Back On The ‘RHOA’ For A ‘Surprise Attack’ — Plus, Are Phaedra And Kandi Feuding?

Fans should be excited to learn that NeNe Leakes isn’t ready to leave the world of reality TV behind just yet. In fact, according to E! Online, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is set to make a surprise return to the reality show in the coming season.

After Leake’s made the announcement that she would not be returning to the show in its eighth season, many thought they would never see her again on RHOA. However, while the reality series is currently in production in Jamaica, Leakes made a surprising visit that even managed to shock some of her co-stars.

Although it isn’t known how involved Leakes will be in the Jamaican episode, it is known that she will be appearing at various points throughout the season. That being said, it isn’t likely that Leakes will be a part of the main story in the upcoming season considering her busy schedule.

With that in mind, Leakes is set to join Betty White in the upcoming reboot of ABC’s former game show, To Tell the Truth. Additionally, Leakes has a part on Broadway, as the actress makes a return in the award-winning musical Chicago, which is set to start next month. With a full schedule ahead of her, Leakes’ appearances on the reality show are likely to be brief in nature.

At the same time, NeNe Leakes won’t be the only star returning to RHOA. Along with Leakes, former Housewife Sheree Whitfield will make several appearances in the new season. Furthermore, Season 8 will also introduce Shamea Morton and Kim Fields to go along with Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, and Kandi Burruss.

Meanwhile, speaking of current cast members of the hit reality show, some troubled times may be ahead for Phaedra and Kandi. According to OK! Magazine, Parks recently posted a few images of her birthday party in Atlanta, and none of the photos featured Burruss. This left many wondering if the two are currently at odds and if their past disputes have resurfaced.

As many will recall, the two have had a history of feuding with each other. Although their issues appeared to have been resolved by the end of Season 7, the latest birthday posting might be an indication that the two haven’t fully moved on.

However, despite the reports, Burruss was quick to post her own images to Instagram in an attempt to prove that she has resolved her past disputes with Parks.

“Happy birthday to the beautiful southern belle Ms @phaedraparks!!! Everybody send her some bday love! Turn up on your trip!” Burruss wrote alongside an image of Parks.

Burruss didn’t stop there. In fact, she also posted an image of Parks along with a birthday banner and a cake.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful friend @toyawright!!!!! This girl knows she takes some beautiful pictures! #msphotogenic #BeautifulBoss Send her some bday love y’all!” she captioned the image.

Although it is not known exactly why Burruss was not in attendance at Park’s birthday bash, the reality star is currently pregnant with her first baby. While Burruss has yet to officially say anything on the matter, her pregnancy may be one reason why she was not a part of the celebrations.

That being said, the two have a history of fighting with each other, so it isn’t out of the question that the two may be having another dispute. Whatever the truth of the situation, it will soon be revealed, as the upcoming season is only weeks away from its premiere.

The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to air November 8 on Bravo, although fans won’t get to see NeNe Leake’s triumphant return until near the end of the season.
