George And Amal Clooney Heading For Divorce Or Entirely Smitten?
George Clooney was known as the perpetual playboy bachelor until he fell for human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin and officially was taken off the market. Many speculate that the notable actor has not gotten his single-minded ways out of his system and that it’s only a matter of time before the stunning couple goes their separate ways. In addition to Clooney’s old habits, which are tough to shake, claims are being made that George feels a bit out of his element when in conversations with his own wife, Amal, who is extremely intelligent and plays an integral role in many high-profile court cases. This has brought forth suggestions that perhaps the two aren’t the best match.
Rumors have circulated over the past few months in regards to this power couple. However, although the naysayers who are keeping more of a realist mindset on the couple have counted the chips stacked against the pair, George and Amal continue to appear as smitten and affectionate as ever.
In regards to various rumors, Realty Today even manages to connect their apparent troubles with their various vacation properties and Amal’s need to have a “fresh start” with the former eligible bachelor.
“George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are always haunted by breakup rumors even before they tied the knot. New reports claim that the A-list couple is on the verge of splitting if Clooney will not give up his “bachelor properties.”
The properties reportedly causing the tension between the two are a villa in Italy, a vacation property in Mexico, and an apartment in New York. Reports suggest that Amal is pushing to rid George of his beloved getaway pads because they are reminders of his former lifestyle.
However, additional reports have been made that Amal simply wants to sell the properties in order to purchase others that allow the couple more privacy, as the Inquisitr reported earlier this year.
All the claims and suggestions of a pending divorce aside, the Clooneys are certainly owning the spotlight with their affectionate demonstrations during various recent occasions and by making such sweet decisions as to bring a furry friend home. George and Amal just adopted a Basset Hound that is one adorable little addition to the Clooney clan.
As Us Weekly notes, the star couple adopted little Millie the Basset Hound from a shelter on Wednesday. The publication shares the words the shelter owners posted to their website shortly after George and Amal adopted Millie.
“It was a happy day at the shelter for Millie! She is a four-year-old Basset Hound mix with gorgeous looks that would land her on any ‘Hush Puppies’ commercial! Millie was found without a home and hoping for food scraps outside of a local restaurant in San Gabriel earlier this month. Today her luck changed for the better when she was adopted by George and Amal Clooney.”
It’s always wonderful to hear of innocent animals being rescued and given loving homes. George and Amal certainly seem to be just the loving couple to give little Millie that fresh start. Additional PDAs and date nights for the couple can only lead onlookers to believe that the couple is as solid as ever. People relayed that the Clooneys shared a “sweet smooch” for all to capture at the Our Brand Is Crisis premiere. The gaze as evidenced in photos snapped pre- and post-kiss shows that there is a strong mutual affection and adoration between Amal and George.
After careful deliberation and realizing the two are completely infatuated, “smitten” is clearly the word that should be used to describe this pair that has been the target of divorce rumors for months now.
