Jessa Seewald Baby News: Will Jill Dillard Return For Baby’s Birth?

The time is almost here for Jessa Seewald to have her baby, which is due on November 1. Now everyone is curious if her sister Jill Duggar Dillard will be coming back to help with the birth of her baby. Jill is a midwife and would be the perfect person to be by Jessa’s side. She has already shared that her plan is to have her baby at home. Fashion & Style shared if Jill Dillard should be returning for the birth of the baby or not. They have been back for several things, including Amy Duggar’s wedding, so it would make sense for them to return for the birth of Jessa’s baby.

So far, Jill and Derick have been going back and forth from Central America. A lot of people donated money to help out with their mission trip, and the couple has been getting a lot of hate for spending money on plane tickets to come back and forth so much. People have not been very happy about it, and if Jill Dillard was to return once again, it would probably not go over very well. At this time, it doesn’t look like Jill will be returning.

Jill and Derick recently spoke out and told everyone that they would not be returning to the states until the middle of summer. This would mean that Jessa and Ben’s baby would already be about 8 or 9 months old when Jill gets to meet her niece or nephew for the first time. A source close to the family recently spoke out and they feel like Jill Dillard will be coming back anyway.

“As for who’ll deliver the newest family member [Jessa Duggar Seewald’s baby], the source says the Duggars are ‘really into midwifery,’ and Jessa’s own sister Jill, who recently became a certified midwife, could possibly have the exciting task.”

Jana Duggar has been going through classes to become a midwife too, but she is not certified yet like Jill Dillard is, but that doesn’t mean that she can’t help. Jana would be a great addition to whoever is helping Jessa when she gives birth, sometime probably in the next week.

Jill Dillard has shared that she doesn’t have plans to use her midwife skills yet because of having young children at home. Jill recently shared her plans.

“My prayer in pursuing midwifery early on was to make wise use of my single years while gaining valuable skills that I might someday use on the mission field. Although I don’t plan on practicing while I have little ones of my own at home, I know the skills I have already learned have benefited me immensely and I may be able to use them in other ways, such as teaching, down the road.”

The International Business Times actually shared the news that Jessa Seewald is planning a home birth despite the fact that her sister Jill Dillard had some issues with her home birth. Jill actually ended up going to the hospital and having her son, Israel, via c-section after a few complications. This doesn’t keep Jessa from wanting to try to give birth at home, though. Jessa did say that they have friends and family members both who have had amazing experiences with home birth. Anna Duggar has done home births every single time and done great. Jessa is due in just a few short days.
