Fifth Harmony Giving Away Album For Free, But There’s A Catch

Fifth Harmony is giving fans a free copy of their first album Reflection, but there’s a catch to the offering. To download their debut album, fans have to have a Google Play account according to a Latin Post report.

For Fifth Harmony, it’s a way to give back to fans a musical compilation that the band said changed the course of their lives.

Fifth Harmony even sweetened the offer for fans. Upon visiting their Facebook page, a post marking the musical giveaway detailed how fans could also score another free gift.

“That’s not all. We want to commemorate the occasion and give the first 100 people to download the album from Google Play a special 5H poster. Post a screen shot in the comments below.”

Fifth Harmony is also including a copy of the song that appeared on the Hotel Transylvania 2 soundtrack, “I’m In Love With A Monster.” The free download couldn’t have dropped at a better time, as the ghoulish song has a Halloween-themed message from Fifth Harmony.

What is not to be lost in the Fifth Harmony announcement on their Instagram page is that the band is already working on their next album. While there is no official name for the album yet, the post referenced the newest compilation as #5H2.

Other than working in the studio on their next album, Fifth Harmony has been extremely busy as of late. The group performed on the red carpet Sunday at the MTV European Music Awards, according to Hollywood Life. The band performed in all-black outfits that showed a little skin, and Fifth Harmony topped off their coordinated outfits with heeled boots.

This is the second year in a row Fifth Harmony has been asked to serve as the before-the-show entertainment. After the show, the band started the European leg of their tour. Starting in Spain, the six-date concert series has stops in Mardrid, Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Frankfurt, and Paris.

Before the show, Fifth Harmony fans may have had some scares, as rumors had circulated about a potential break-up. The rumors started after band member Camila Cabello explained how she felt about One Direction breaking up in 2016 to Latina magazine, Hollywood Life reported.

“Honestly, I think we all do [think it will end one day]. We’d be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music-video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it’s harder.”

But with the announcement of working on a second album, rumors about Fifth Harmony splitting anytime soon should certainly die down.

Camila was also vocal about the type of man she’s interested in dating, the Inquisitr reported. The Fifth Harmony singer explained what she’s looking for in a potential boyfriend.

“I think he just needs to be a good person. I was young and naive and stupid. But because I’m a good girl, I tend to fall for the bad boy persona, and it ends up biting me in the butt…I just need to find someone who is a good person with good values and who is focused.”

Is the Fifth Harmony vocalist talking about “Stitches” singer Shawn Mendes? While some outlets have reported they are an item, the two musicians have denied the claims. However, making homemade videos covering songs and spending time teaching each other another language and how to play the guitar are activities that are doing little to stop the rumors.
