Jessa Duggar Seewald Shares Sweet Maternity Photos And 3D Ultrasound Image Of Baby Seewald’s Face [Photos]
The Duggar family is expecting a new bundle of joy any day now as daughter Jessa Seewald approaches her November 1 due date. In honor of her upcoming birth, Jessa shared a series of maternity photos with her fans along with a 3D ultrasound photo of baby Seewald’s face.
Jessa Seewald recently took to social media to share her maternity photo album. Jessa posted some of her favorite images to both Instagram and Facebook while sharing a link to her entire maternity album. In the photos, the mother-to-be can be seen sporting a knee-length floral skirt and blue top. The photos focus on Jessa’s pregnant belly but also feature pictures of the parents-to-be kissing and holding hands. You can check out Jessa Seewald’s full maternity album here.
Jessa also took the time to post a new photo of baby Seewald, affectionately referred to as Quincy by both Jessa and Ben. The photo is in the form of a 3D ultrasound that focuses on the baby’s face. It is likely Jessa chose to post the “face only” image as the Seewalds have decided to keep the gender of their new baby a secret until the birth. In the photo, Jessa posts the ultrasound photo along with baby photos of herself and Ben. She then asks fans if they think the new baby will more closely resemble a Duggar or a Seewald.
In the posting, Jessa admits that she has been dreaming of meeting her new bundle of joy and can’t wait for the upcoming birth so she can meet baby Seewald face to face. She notes that she is only 10 days away from her due date and is expecting the baby to arrive anytime now.
“Sitting here dreaming about the moment when we will meet our little one face-to-face… and wondering if our baby will carry more Seewald or Duggar characteristics and features! I’m thinking #BabySeewald will be a sweet mix of the two of us! What do you think?”
Jessa recently disclosed to fans that she was planning a home birth and would follow in the footsteps of her sister-in-law Anna and sister Jill. Jessa noted that she was wanting a home birth but that she had a backup plan in place if the birth didn’t turn out as planned. She acknowledged Jill Dillard’s difficult birth but says that she knows a lot of relatives and friends who have had wonderful home birth experiences.
“Our plan is to have a home birth. We have lots of relatives and friends who have had wonderful experiences with giving birth at home, and we are excited and hopeful that our experience will be the same.”
Duggar fans will be able to follow Jessa’s pregnancy and birth thanks to the new TLC specials focused on Duggar daughters Jill and Jessa. The Duggar daughter will be a central focus of the series as the network begins a new series spin-off from 19 Kids and Counting. The series, Counting On, will air this year and will follow Jill as she continues mission work in Central America and on Jessa as she transitions to motherhood.
