Abortion doctor George Tiller killed

Kansas abortion doctor George Tiller was killed as he attended church Sunday, a new escalation in violence from so-called “pro-life” advocates.
Tiller was attending a Sunday morning service at the Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita when a man entered the church and shot him at close range. Tiller’s wife was singing in the Church choir when the shooting took place.
A 51 year old pro-life suspect, who had threatened two other men at the church who had tried to apprehend him, was arrested three hours after the shooting in Kansas City. Police have so far not released the suspects name.
George Tiller had been a controversial figure as one of the few doctors in the United States who performed late term abortions. Tiller had previously been shot in 1993 but survived, and his abortion clinic has been subject to regular acts of vandalism, including a bombing in 1986.

Anti-abortion groups have decried this shooting, stressing nonviolent protest. This killing was morally wrong and for many so is abortion.
Today's tragedy speaks in part to the extreme response to abortions long/ short term “legacy”. A Legacy that must come to a “broader” public forum including the democratic party and its support base. This is occurring as more are informed. Incidents like this sets that dialogue back. So long as those disagreeing with abortion are “summed” up as right-wingers “only” we'll not comprehend clearly the fallout of abortion beyond blinders.
Abortion policy is hypocritical in many ways. For example: the black community is effected more as abortions are higher disproportionate to the rest of the population. Isn't odd that so many in the democratic left ignore and cast off the Prolife position as that “conservative” cause? Yet the dems claim to be the singular party of best interest to minorities? Thankfully abortion rates are dropping. Why? Knowledge!!

Dear concerned citizens of the United States of America:
Today we witnessed an end to the death ministry of Dr George Killer (oops, Tiller). Dr. Tiller and Hitler had very much in common; they both waited for the winds-of-change to blow favorably in their direction. Changing Judiciary votes, preying on the amoral mindset of the majority or minority of our population, all contributed to the victimization of hysterical pregnant mothers (over 30,000,000 who became men's “Pleasure toys”), who later realized they are pregnant.
Dr Tiller and his assassin are both guilty of crimes against humanity, they are both serial killers. One just has more notches on his gun than the other one does! And neither one is a victim, for they both gave their life to an unworthy cause. Dr Tiller no longer has the option to repent, but hopefully his assassin will.
A wanted unborn = A life birthed child
The same, but unwanted unborn = A dead suctioned fetus
What a tragic dichotomy!
Primary solution to the Pro-Life Pro-Choice dilemma:
All of us do wrong and compare ourselves with others;
We are not more righteous* than hysterical pregnant mothers.
And if most women-with-child was loved by the child's father
She would smile and happily say “No abortion” why bother!
Ask God and the person you mated with to forgive you, forgive yourself and live the abundant life!!!
Sincerely,
Arthur Trafford

I can only imagine that the man who shot Tiller was acting under his version of beliefs being fed to him by his religion and whatever media outlets that may have coincided with those religious beliefs.
In my opinion; he acted no differently that an Al Qaeda follower or suicide bomber might have acted.
Ironically, this does nothing to promote the so-called “Pro-Life” movement.
Whether you believe in a woman's right to choose or not; this is not the answer.

I am from vancouver, canada and i wanted to say that doctors in the usa should be able to perform abortions without having to be concerned about their lives being lost.President Obama should be on the side of the pro choice people. It don't make any sense to try and get the two sides together.People are either on one side or the other.Women everywhere in the world should be able to get an abortion on demand. It is a right women should have in a civilized country.President Obama should ban anti abortion people from demonstrating and interfering in the lives of other people. The anti abortion people are no better than the ku klux klan and they should be treated as such.
