Report: Roberto Martinez To Be The Next “Bachelor”


He has already won the ABC reality drama of “the Bachelorette”. Now, according to several reports, The winner of the sixth season of “the Bachelorette”, Roberto Martinez, is going to be presented by ABC as the star of the next season of “the Bachelor”. Martinez broke off his engagement to “Bachlorette” Ali Fedotowsky last fall.

An insider told Life & Style,

“They chose him because he’s very likable,”

Martinez was a contestant on the sixth season of “The Bachelorette” in 2010, vying for Fedotowsky’s heart and her commitment to spent their lives together. He was an early favorite and during the show’s finale the couple got engaged in Bora Bora. Fedotowsky and Martinez had originally planned to tie the knot in the summer of 2011, but an injury forced Fedotowsky to postpone.

Fedotowsky told People magazine in August,

“We had a date set, and that date has now passed. The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears.”

Later on in the fall, Fedotowsky had told people that her and Martinez did not feel the need to set a new date for the wedding because, in her words, they “just don’t feel the need to walk down the aisle right now.”

In November the couple, amid reports that they were headed for a split, officially ended their relationship.

While Fedotowsy says that the split was totally amicable, an insider told Life and Style,

“in the back of Roberto’s mind, I’m sure there’s some enjoyment in getting revenge on Ali.”
