‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Sabrina Really Pregnant? Will This Be Enough To Keep Michael Away From The Mob?

On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, it looks like the rumor of Sabrina Santiago’s impending pregnancy may be coming to the forefront. If she is indeed with child, as predicted, this is definitely going to complicate things for boyfriend and soon-to-be daddy, Michael Quartermaine, formerly known as Michael Corinthos.

Sabrina and best friend Felix went to grab something to eat, and as soon as the plate of food was placed in front of her, she ran for the bathroom. Of course, being the smart guy that he is, Felix suggested that she could very well be pregnant. She, of course, denied it. However, Sabrina did say that she would take a pregnancy test in the morning to appease him.

The possibility that the test will be positive is a concern for Sabrina now that Michael has had his foot in his daddy’s mob business. As Celebrity Dirty Laundry has suggested, she may decide to keep this baby away from him if he doesn’t walk away from the mob.

The Corinthos family is coming together once again to support Sonny while he is recovering from his gunshot wound. This includes Michael, who has decided to throw away his Quartermaine ways that he has fought so hard for these last few months to be lured into the mob like Sonny. But what happens if he has a child of his own? He is about to find out.

Carly and Sonny are also about to finish their wedding vows that were interrupted last week when Sonny suddenly went into a seizure before the hospital wedding was finished. They are about to make that happen again, with Michael and Morgan by their side this time around.

Michael and Sabrina were very happy until Sonny got shot at the warehouse. This brought the Corinthos out in him, and now that Michael has been to a meeting of the five families, he is now more involved in the family business. This does not sit well with his girl, or his mother. Carly has basically forbidden her oldest son to show up to any more meetings from now on. Once she finds out that Michael is having a child, she will definitely want him to walk away from any type of mob activity.

Fans have grown to love the pairing of Michael and Sabrina. The past few months have shown General Hospital viewers that angry and bitter side of Michael, but his new girlfriend has lightened him up quite a bit and given him a new outlook on life. The writers could have had this couple having this baby together and living happily ever after. However, this is a soap, and it certainly wouldn’t be as interesting.

This will be Sabrina’s second pregnancy on General Hospital. She was previously pregnant with Patrick Drake’s baby, but their son died shortly after birth due to a car accident. That experience may just make her even more protective over this child. The actress, Teresa Castillo, is also expecting her second child. She announced the news in July, so this is the perfect time for a pregnancy story line.

As Celebrity Dirty Laundry pointed out, mothers on General Hospital have gone to desperate measures to keep their children safe from the mob, and even from drunken fathers. Carly kept Michael from AJ, but then she brought her baby into the life of a mob boss. Olivia Falconeri kept Dante a secret from Sonny pretty much his whole life, and she is currently doing the same thing with Julian Jerome. The current ABC spoilers for this week say that she will come up with a plan to keep Julian away from their son. It sounds like maybe she is planning on bringing her baby back into town while still making his daddy believe that he is dead.

Will Sabrina be the next one to have to take desperate measures to protect her child from Michael’s life in the mob? Maybe the new daddy will choose to walk away from that life. However, he is determined to do whatever it takes to protect his family right now with Sonny out of commission at the hospital. Rumors are swirling that viewers will see another side of him that will eventually be revealed. Maybe Morgan isn’t the one everyone should be worried about.
