WWE Rumors: These Two Huge WWE Legends Could Be Seen A Lot More This Year

WWE is dealing with a number of issues lately and it’s causing them to call for a lot of changes and to shake things up. Falling television ratings are making some big backstage names a bit nervous and it’s not going to help that John Cena will soon be off of TV for close to two months to close out the year. Already, WWE is looking for ways to bring in more fans and one way would be more TV time for legends such as The Undertaker and The Rock.

Recently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was moved from the Alumni section on WWE and put back on the Current Roster section of the site. There was no real explanation for this and it was done rather quietly by WWE.

Yes, The Rock has a lot going on as far as the movie she’s filming and now with his girlfriend being pregnant as well. Still, his name was already rumored quite often as the mystery partner for Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at Night of Champions, but that obviously didn’t end up happening.

Still, with Cena being gone at the end of October and not returning until after Christmas, one of the biggest names and draws is going to be gone. The Rock doesn’t even have to wrestle or start a new program with someone. Just advertising his appearance and letting him cut some promos and maybe beat someone up will help draw ratings.

If WWE really wanted to get some viewership back, they could have The Rock show up and begin to light the fire for his WrestleMania 32 feud…whatever that may end up being. If it’s known that the “Great One” is starting things up and getting rough with someone such as Brock Lesnar or anyone else, then ratings would easily go up.

Sting’s name had been thrown around some and it was thought that he may be making more appearances during Cena’s absence. His serious injury at Night of Champions laid that talk to rest as it’s not currently known if Sting will ever wrestle again.

According to WrestleZone, that’s where The Undertaker comes back into play as he could show up more often for WWE before the year is out. He’s already scheduled for the company’s tour of Mexico later this month and he’ll even be partnering with his brother Kane as the Brothers of Destruction take on The Wyatt Family.

The Undertaker is said to be in much better health this year and he’s totally healed from any injuries or surgeries that had slowed him down. With that, he is said to be open to working more special dates for the company after the tour of Mexico and Hell In A Cell.

Another thing is that this year’s Survivor Series marks the the 25th anniversary of The Undertaker’s debut in WWE. It’s hard to believe that he won’t be a part of the show and that it actually wouldn’t be centered around him for that matter.

As of now, WWE.com doesn’t have him listed as appearing at the event on Nov. 22, but there is still plenty of time for that to change.

John Cena’s absence and Sting’s injury is really putting a kink in the plans of WWE and it’s causing a bit of panic with the low ratings. It honestly wouldn’t be surprising to see Samoa Joe move up from NXT and make his WWE main roster debut before too long.

For now, the rumors swirling around are that The Rock and The Undertaker will be showing their faces around WWE much more before 2015 is over. It could be for just some jumps in ratings or it could be to start some big-time programs and really get fans excited.
