Softball Coach At Christian College Tried To Get Students Into The Porn Industry, Groped Them Often — The School Had His Back

A women’s softball coach at Nyack College, a Christian institution in Rockland County, has been accused of fondling students and trying to get them into the porn industry.

According to the New York Post, 44-year-old Kurt Ludwigsen is facing a serious lawsuit after offering to help students become porn stars and even hiring famous adult-film star Allie Haze to provide “life-counseling” lessons to the students. Kurt Ludwigsen was arrested in April on charges of improper sexual conduct with college students. This behavior involved regularly groping the students’ breasts, slapping them on the butt, and forcing them to sit on his lap.

One bizarre and shocking incident is cited in the lawsuit, revealing a strange sexual punishment that Kurt Ludwigsen doled out after a softball pitcher lost a game.

“‘I am going to ear f*** you,” Kurt Ludwigsen allegedly said. “‘This is your punishment. You are going to stand here and take it.’ Ludwigsen then began to lick [her] ear. When [she] tried to pull away, Ludwigsen held her tighter and said, ‘Stop moving. I told you that you are going to stand here and take it.'”

Kurt Ludwigsen reportedly tried to help multiple students find careers in sex-related fields, asking one of them if she had ever considered becoming a stripper. He claimed he had the “resources and connections to assist” students into the porn industry, according to the suit.

“While student athletes often look to their coaches for career and life advice, [Kurt Ludwigsen] instead offered to help team members pursue careers in the adult entertainment industry.”‘

The coach invited porn star Allie Haze, who appeared in such films as Secretary’s Day 4 and Lesbians Unchained, to various softball practices. And at one point Kurt Ludwigsen even hosted a mandatory meeting at his own home, wherein students were forced to ask Haze questions about her career.

The attorney representing these students, Todd Krouner, told the Huffington Post that the case against Kurt Ludwigsen “has strong merit to it.” He also heavily criticized Nyack College for hiring Kurt Ludwigsen in the first place and allowing the inappropriate sexual behavior to take place.

“The allegations of sexual discrimination, harassment and deprivation of the student athletes’ academic and social activities at Nyack College are profound and pervasive,” said Krouner.

When Nyack College hired him, Kurt Ludwigsen was already under investigation for the sexual assault of five or six teen girls that he had previously coached. He had not been arrested for those alleged incidents, but Nyack was aware of the accusations when they brought him on. They have also been accused of failing to perform sufficient background checks on Kurt Ludwigsen, and of sexual discrimination and negligence, according to the Journal News.

“Nyack College markets itself as ‘New York’s Christian College’ even though Ludwigsen admitted that he was certainly not a ‘typical Christian coach,'” says the suit.

When one of the students reported Kurt Ludwigsen for his sexual misconduct, the Christian institution seemingly sided with the coach by restricting her time on the softball field. When enough complaints from players piled up against the coach, he was finally terminated from Nyack College in March and arrested shortly after. But his dismissal came a little too late, because now Nyack College itself is being sued along with him.

In addition to Kurt Ludwigsen, there are several members of the Nyack College administrators listed in the lawsuit, including Michael Scales, Nyack College President; David Jennings, Executive Vice President; Keith Davie, athletic director; Amanda Aikens, assistant athletic director; and Kirsten Lambertson, another softball coach.

Nyack College has since released a statement claiming that it fired Kurt Ludwigsen as soon as the allegations came to light and insisted that they do provide thorough background checks on all new hires, adding “We continue to keep those impacted in our prayers.”
