Kailyn Lowry Faces Backlash After Threatening Divorce
Kailyn Lowry knows she has had a tough year. Lowry decided to film Teen Mom even though she was contemplating divorce. From the first episode, fans saw Javi Marroquin’s insecurities regarding Kailyn. Just because Kailyn was texting a guy from her class, Javi thought that she was possibly cheating. And throughout the season, he clearly revealed that he didn’t trust Kailyn at all.
During the reunion special for Teen Mom, Kailyn Lowry dropped a bombshell. She had actually considered divorce, and they had even drawn up an agreement in regards to little Lincoln. Lowry said she didn’t need a husband and would be able to take care of herself. While many saw that as a wise decision, others thought she was selfish and rude.
According to a new Instagram post, Kailyn Lowry is now experiencing quite the backlash on social media for even bringing up the idea of a divorce — and then sharing it with viewers. Sadly, Lowry is being called all kinds of names for her revelation.
“You are honestly the most sorry excuse for a mother!!!!! Let alone a ‘wife’ your husband deserves do much better in his life… You clearly are still a child!!! You are marries for crying out loud!!! ACT LIKE IT!!!! You put EVERYTHING on Javi but look in the damn mirror YOU start every argument y’all get into!!!! You’re a b***h!!!! You need help. You play this pitty party s**t in ALL your episodes EVERY season and that s**t is getting real old. I highly doubt you are this or read this… But I pray you do and it knocks some damn sense into you,” one person wrote to Kailyn.
Sadly, these are the kinds of messages that Lowry is receiving these days after her admission on the Teen Mom reunion special. Kailyn once revealed that she is often bullied online, but she tends to ignore it. Sadly, Lowry is being called a bad mother and a horrible wife. Was Kailyn really ready to split up the family?
“It really shocks me how the Internet seems to magically gives everyone the right to tell off other people and think they know someone or what’s best for someone’s life just because they saw them on tv. Kailyn Lowry, I kinda hate it for you- bc all this drama has to get old and has to wear on you. I actually really hope you don’t even read all this junk. It’s like poison,” one person wrote to Lowry, adding, “This is one of the reasons I hate social media. I have to ask myself what good really comes of it.”
According to In Touch Weekly, it was Kailyn’s husband Javi who revealed that they had decided to go their separate ways.
“We came up with an agreement with [their son] Lincoln,” Javi told cameras during the special, adding, “We were going to go our separate ways.”
While Javi was rather calm about it, Lowry told her friend Sterling that she would be just fine without a husband.
“I’m at a point where I’m only worried about my kids,” Lowry told her friend Sterling, adding, “I don’t need a husband. I don’t need any man. I’m not going to sit here and spend the next 10 years of my life trying to make it work if it’s just not going to work. It’s like a broken record.”
Maybe it was the way it was said, but people are not pleased with Kailyn Lowry these days. She is getting quite the backlash for almost giving up on her marriage. These days, the couple is doing just fine, but they were close to signing those divorce papers.
