Gwen Stefani Dating Blake Shelton? ‘The Voice’ Coach Talks Miranda Lambert & Shocking Views On Some Contestants

Gwen Stefani is dating Blake Shelton, according to the rumors whirling around the Voice coaches. With both sexy celebrities recently split from their previous partners, it does seem as if Gwen and Blake could find love among The Voice chairs together, pointed out Hollywood Life.

In an era where younger men often date older women, the fact that Stefani is 45 and Shelton is 39 is no big deal. And their flirty fun on the Voice has made many ponder the romantic question of what goes on when the chairs are turned. A little canoodling between the crooning?

Although the chemistry between Gwen and Blake does exist, an insider said that it’s just friendly fun.

“It’s not a thing at all,” revealed that source. “They are friends… Blake is a great guy and lots of fun on set with everyone, but that is not equaling into a relationship between him and Gwen.”

As for Stefani, she only joked about Shelton in terms of his weight loss, reported E! News.

Although Blake has shed weight, she said that she’s only seen him drinking, not dieting or exercising.

“You know, I have not seen him. All I’ve seen him do is this,” said Gwen as she raised her hand high, imitating holding a glass.

Stefani and Gavin Rossdale recently divorced after being married for 13 years.

Their children are all boys and include Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 1.

As for Blake’s joked-about weight loss, Shelton has been dieting and exercising, according to his representative.

He and Miranda, 31, divorced after being married for four years. They did not have children.

Reflecting on how he and Lambert kept their split quiet for so long, Shelton credited it to the divorce laws in Oklahoma, a prenuptial agreement, and the fact that they did not have children, reported the Today show.

“In Oklahoma, it happens so fast,” mused Blake. “Miranda and I didn’t have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce… I think it was like a nine or ten day waiting period till it [was] over.”

And although Shelton felt that rumors might emerge during that short waiting period, he noted that they felt safe in assuming that their marriage would have ended before the full facts came out.

“By the time that anybody knew anything, it was over. It was done,” summed up Blake.

As for their relationship now, Shelton emphasized that he and Miranda are pals.

“We’re buddies,” said Blake.

But then Shelton turned to the topic of The Voice and the notoriously tense blind auditions. The coaches cannot see the contestants as they sing, and what Blake revealed he secretly thinks about some of the contestants after he sees their appearances was a shocker.

“Man, there’s been times, trust me, where you hit [the ‘I Want You’ button on the swivel chair], and turn around and [think], ‘Whoa! No! You are not going to make it. Ever.'”
