Wolf Blitzer Owns Donald Trump [Video]

CNN Host Wolf Blitzer owned Donald Trump on Tuesday for his apparent need to double down on the birther conspiracy. Even with an extraordinary amount of evidence to the contrary Donald Trump still seems to think Obama was born in Kenya.

Blitzer attacked Trump with the evidence that the State of Hawaii released Obama’s long form birth certificate and that there were multiple birth announcements in the Hawaii papers.

“Why are you going through all of this, Donald?

When Trump answered that a lot of people do not think it’s an authentic certificate.

“But how can you say that?” Blitzer pressed.

Trump continued to harp on Blitzer saying that if he [Blitzer] would take a closer look he would have his own questions about the birth certificate as well. Trump then went on to tell Blitzer that his ratings may improve if he covered the birther issue more closely.

It became obvious that Blitzer had enough of Trump’s sermonizing when he told Trump,

“Donald, you’re beginning to sound a little ridiculous, I have to tell you.”

Tump went right back after Blitzer saying,

“No I think you are, Wolf. Let me tell you something, I think you sound ridiculous and if you’d ask me a question and let me answer it.”

Blitzer interrupted Trump saying,

“Here’s the question. Did the conspiracy start in 1961 where the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and the Honolulu advertiser contemporaneously published announcements that he was born in Hawaii?”

Trump then argued (to Blitzer’s astonishment),

“That’s right. And many people put those announcements in because they wanted to get the benefits of being so-called born in this country. Many people did it. It was something that was done by many people even though they weren’t born in the country. You know and so do I. And so do a lot of your viewers, although you don’t have many viewers, Wolf,”
