‘RHONY’ Star Ramona Singer’s New Man — Everything We Know About Thomas D’Agostino Jr
It may only be a year since her divorce from Mario Singer, but the Real Housewives of New York City’s Ramona Singer is already finding new love. Despite having her fair share of troubles in the realm of dating during the past season of the reality show, Singer has managed to snag up a very successful businessman.
In fact, an inside source recently told Radar Online that Singer is currently dating millionaire businessman Thomas D’Agostino Jr. D’Agostino is apparently a tycoon in Manhattan and is reportedly worth some $50 million, which is a considerable upgrade for the reality star.
The source revealed that D’Agostino and Singer met through mutual friends. Although their relationship is only just beginning and hasn’t reached a serious point yet, the source did state that they “have been seeing each other for a few months.”
Singer was married to Mario for 22 years before deciding to end things last year following rumors that her husband had cheated on her. Although she is 58-years-old, Singer is obviously managing to have some success in the dating world. She recently told People exactly what she is looking for in a potential mate.
“If on the first date, if he doesn’t help me with my coat, then I don’t want to be with him,” she told the outlet. “I like a man who is attentive from the very beginning. If he’s not, then you don’t want him. I really like to be set up. It’s nicer because the person setting us up knows me and them.”
Ramona Singer also explained how she prefers her men to be unfamiliar with her reality show.
“I don’t want them to have any kind of pre-judged opinion of me. I’m proud of what I do but I don’t want to be judged for what I do because it can be taken out of context.”
As far as her idea of a perfect date is concerned, Singer revealed that she would like to “have a great bottle of wine, great conversation, maybe go somewhere else later for a drink and then the next day they send you flowers.”
Apparently, D’Agostino has fulfilled all of Singer’s qualifications so far, which is more than what Singer said about her former husband.
“I tried to make my marriage work because I have strong values and I believe that people make mistakes,” she stated. “But you reach a point where you realize the other person isn’t putting in as much effort as you are. And I reached my breaking point.”
There have been a few casting changes for Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New York, and although nothing has been announced regarding Ramona Singer, chances are that the original RHONY will return.
